This rc car has insane power and speed. I run 6s 6000mah lipo batties and get a half hour to 45 minutes of run time. Also this thing takes a beating. Great reciever responce.     • Best 1/8th scale buggy I've ever driven
I bought a used one a month ago and then my wife wanted one so I got her new one. These cars continue to amaze me. I have been downright abusive to mine and it keeps moving. Its been jumped 25ft in the air, dropped onto skate park ramps and slammed into concrete curbs and never misses a beat. Hers has been beat up a little with a new rc driver and it never stops. The battery life is amazing too. I run 6200mah 6s lipos and with hard driving it will run for 35 to 45 mins. I would advise upgrading to a fan cooler for the motor because it will get extremely hot.     • Doesn't work after 7 days of owning. (Update) seller steps up and saves
So at first I thought this thing was great and durable. But I have only had it for 7 days. And only used it 5 times. And now it does nothing. Tried 3 different batteries in it. It turns on when you hit the power button. But then continues to turn off and on on its own. Doesn't drive or stear. The fan on the speed control is the only thing that works. Paid a lot of money for this to just quit like that so soon. Update 12/9/21 so the car is a beast. The seller fixed the issue and the only problem I have had since is tires. It will literally blow them apart. I've gone through 16 sets. Yes a lot of them were the cheaper ones to try out. But it even will blow apart the belted tires. It has so much power. It will literally jump a house or a bus. It takes a beating and just keeps going. Updated its January 18. Still having trouble contacting horizon for any repairs. But the seller has stepped in and is sending an upgrade servo for a car they don't even service. I would give 2 extra starts and will definitely do business with rapid wheelhouse again in the future. There customer service makes up for the headache with this problem for sure. ... show more

Pretty good overall. But was unaware that arrma put a ic5 plug with a battery lead fpr the telemetry system. And like traxxas the arrma battery's and charger will run you another $250.00 Unless your prepared to replace the ic5 connectors with xt90. Or buy ic5 connectors for your own battery.

Super fast out of the box, the tires wore extremely fast on road. I would buy a set of street tires if you plan on driving on road. Powerful and good looking car that always gets compliments. Controls great as well!!!

This is my first ever RC car and what a great purchase. Got a great deal from Amazon. Car arrived in perfect condition and had to go get batteries and charger for it. Went to my local hobby shop and got the necessary equipment. The local shop was very helpful and walked me through the lipo batteries and safety charging them. Very serious batteries. Once I got the car ready I was blown away how ,fast durable and overall fun it was. It keep the car at 50% power and it’s more than enough. My only negative is the tires I live in Las Vegas and the tires disintegrated from the heat from the pavement and the overall power. I bought some belted tires and it has helped. ... show more
