I've never used a waist trainer before, so my experience may be a bit different than others. I'm usually pretty skeptical of these things, but the reviews were good, so I decided to give it a try. I'll start with the sizing: my waist is 36 inches. Based on the sizing chart in the description, I should have gotten an XL, but I went with a L and I'm glad I did. It took a little effort to get the zipper started. But once it was on, it was quite snug but not enough to restrict my breathing! 😁 The length is great! I'm a hair over 5 foot tall. This goes from right under my bra all the way down to cover my mommy pooch! Exactly what I was looking for! It's comfortable enough to wear around the house all day. However if you need to bend over to do anything, you will need to stoop/bend at your knees (bending at the waist will be very uncomfortable). I will say, this trainer WILL make you sweat....even with minimal activity. If you have sensitive skin, I would definitely recommend wearing a light t-shirt underneath the trainer. I would also not recommend wearing it for an extended period of time after a lot of sweating. I had to run errands after a walk and left the trainer on for the rest of the day. After taking it off, my skin was very irritated. The first day of wearing it, I also noticed the boning at the bottom of the trainer had dug into the top of my thigh, near my bikini line, and rubbed it raw. Making sure my t-shirt came down past the bottom of the trainer seemed to remedy that. I wear mine approximately every other day, so I'm sure my results will be slower and less noticeable than others. I definitely recommend this trainer to give great back support as well as to make you sweat! As far as cinching my waist, time will tell and I will update this review with my progress.

The material is very stretchy. I ordered a large. My waist is 36 and can get to the very last row due to the stretchy material. I'm returning and reordering a Medium to see if it's any better. It's good to workout in especially during abdominal workouts. Downside, it leaves marks regardless of how loose it is.

I thought for sure the large wouldn’t fit me and that it would be a pain to hook the eyelets. But I was pleasantly surprised that I got it on without too much trouble, and that there was no binding and digging into my skin. It really supports my back too. It holds me in but still offers some comfortability. Good buy.
