I ordered this cat tree for my 10 year-old cat. He weighs 18lbs so well within the 33lb limit listed in the product description. The only reason I didn't give this product 5 stars is because of the width of some of the levels are too narrow for him to move effortlessly from level to level. The scratching posts are good but I wish they were taller to give cats a higher stretch/scratch. I do love the dual posts which give extra stability. The opening for the cat condo is roomy and easy for him to get in and out of. Pictures below. Cat not included with product.

This is a very nicely balanced kitty tree. My 15 pound and 11 pound cats are continually on it! I did put some five pound weights on the bottom platform since I could not use the anchor strap in my apartment. The assembly was clear cut and quite easy. It took about half an hour. It was a great price and is holding up well! I am not using the little cubby option since my cats don’t use them.

As a feline rescue, we’ve seen all manner of personalities — from stoic seniors who sleep 23 hours a day, to wild-eyed kitten tornadoes who believe the laws of physics don’t apply to them. This cat tower has now become the official headquarters for the latter. It started innocently enough. We set it up for our bottle babies, thinking it would help them learn to climb and scratch without destroying our furniture. The structure went together easily enough (no degree in rocket science required), felt sturdy, and seemed like a nice, civilized playground. However, within 48 hours, the kittens had staked their claim to it as their sovereign territory. Our eight adult cats — who once ruled the house with regal authority — are now living in exile. The moment a kitten so much as glances their way, they abandon the best napping spots without so much as a hiss. These veterans know better than to cross a caffeine-powered fuzzball on a mission. The kittens, meanwhile, have weaponized the tower: Level 1: Recruitment & Training Center — where they practice climbing up the scratching posts like tiny, clawed commandos. Level 2: Mid-Level Ambush Zone — where they wait in perfect stillness before launching themselves onto unsuspecting siblings, tails, or passing humans. The Hammock: Tactical Observation Deck — ideal for supervising enemy troop movements (also known as “watching the dog”). Top Perch: Throne of Supreme Authority — whoever wins this spot is in charge of kitten politics until the next wrestling match changes leadership. The adult cats? They’ve been reduced to sleeping on the floor, avoiding eye contact, and muttering under their breath about “the good old days” before the tower fell to the new regime. But honestly, that’s the beauty of it — the kittens are expending their endless energy here, learning to scratch this instead of my sofa, and leaving our human toes marginally safer at night. It’s not just a cat tree; it’s a full-scale training ground for future feline chaos agents… and I wouldn’t have it any other way. The only opinion that matters in this scenario is the cat’s. Describe her very grumpy expression, she gives this tower 4 paws up. She has been trying out each platform and spends a lot of time playing with the hanging acorns. It’s a nice neutral color that blends into the living room and despite being large, it has a narrow footprint. The cat sleeps most of the day on it, so I know she’s comfortable and she has fun playing on it as well. Not to mention, she likes to get away from the dog on it. It was a little bit of a lengthy assembly but the steps were easy to follow and the build quality is great.

All 3 of my cats absolutely love this tower. This is actually the 2nd one I have gotten. They can play rough on it or use it for an afternoon nap. Different levels allow all 3 to use it at one. Color allows it to blend a bit with surrounding decor too which is nice.
