So easy to use and my hair looks always amazing with this. Not loving to sleep with it, I have a different method. After I blow dry my hair, or on just dry hair, I put heat protector (you could do just water) for the hair to be a little bit wet. I’m doing this and with a dryer passing by for like 3-4 minutes in both sides. Then, in this time, I just do my make up and let it just be, and when I’m ready I take it off. So it’s on my hair for total 30-40 minutes and it stays super well after, even without a spray. Like in the pictures (the result depends on how long you dry your hair, how tight you’re wearing your hair on this thing). Just notice that your hair is not dry when wearing it. OK, normally I cannot get my hair to hold curl and I'm not great at Curling it in the first place. This thing is genius! After a few uses, I found these tips really helped me get smooth/tight curls - 1. Hair damp but not wet 2. Put product in when wet (I use a frizz cream and conditioning spray) 3. Play with the placement of the center of the curler - make sure it's the most comfortable for how you sleep 4. Twist in pieces - almost like grabbing in hair to add to a French braiding 5. Scrunchies at the ends - push them up if you want tighter curls 6. Spray w hairspray lightly in the AM before you take out 7. Hairspray once they're out 8. Do NOT brush- finger comb - and wait 10 min after you let them down/spray I can do this in 5 min before bed and wake up, let them down, spray and go! ... show more

This heatless curler works! The “wand” curler has some type of flexible wire in it surrounded by cushion and silk outer layer which helps to reduce frizz. It comes with two scrunchies to secure the ends once you wrap your hair around the wand. The instructions say to have slightly dampened hair which is what I’ve done thus far and it works. I wouldn’t do wet hair as it may not dry completely overnight. This wand gave me nice voluminous curls. I’d recommend putting in anti-frizz serum or curling cream prior to applying the heatless wand (or whatever product you like to use when normally curling your hair) for it to truly be a take out and be ready type of deal. I have two sets of these and love them. I tried another name brand version and it was way too stiff and uncomfortable to sleep on. This is very soft and comfortable and can be used for damp or dry hair. I’ve found that if I put some leave in conditioner on my wet hair and let it dry almost fully or when it’s dry then wrap it, the curls last longer. I have super straight , fine hair that never holds a heated curl even sprayed with hairspray or mousse. I can’t use hairspray with this either (after I unwrap it) because the curls have fallen out and I’m left with stiff/sticky hair 😣 and I can’t easily run my fingers through it. ... show more

After a few days/nights of trying this out, I was able to figure out what works perfectly to get effortless curls in my hair with this product. My hair is very fine and pin straight, but will be and stay curled after only a few hours of using this curling set. I only need to put a small amount of water in my hair before tying it up (I usually just use a spray bottle and brush through my hair with a wet brush). I've noticed that if my hair is still damp after a shower and I use it, it won't fully dry and the curls won't stick. My hair usually has to be 90-95% dry for it to work well. I like how soft the rod is so I can adjust how tight I want the curls to be. The satin also doesn't damage my hair, so if I wear it at night + using a satin pillowcase, I am confident I am not damaging my hair. ... show more

It takes me about 15 minutes to put in my hair and all I do is have to sleep. Perfect for those who don't want to spend a ton of time doing their hair. The longer you leave them in the better results you get of course! I couldn't believe they actually worked as good as they did.... But make sure you have plenty of hours to leave them in your hair. I find that they work better when you put them in in the morning for curls later in the day. Sleeping in it did not come out very well for me. If your hair does not naturally hold curls from a curling iron, these will not work for you! I recommend putting a little bit of light hairspray on as well. ... show more

I have very curly hair so I was curious about how this would work. To my surprise, it made my curls so much more defined. After I wash, I apply my usual curl products and then wrap them and go to sleep. When I remove it in the morning I just break up the curls and do a little fluffing and they look amazing. I found some videos on how to wrap it so it’s more comfortable to sleep in so that was very helpful.
