I liked everything about this shampoo bar it lather nice it cleaned my hair good, it smells nice and it did promote hair growth quick. My hair got thicker instead of it being thin. I normally dye my hair every 4 to 5 weeks ,color stays pretty well until I started using shampoo bar ,roots got darker quick so in other words it does promote hair growth. I had never used a bar until this one, so bear that in mind. I've used it for a few weeks now and I was pleasantly surprised on several things. 1. It lathers much more easily than I thought it would. I do the "paint it on" method, making sure to cover my hair in its entirety. 2. It has significantly reduced build-up, itching and flaking. 3. Overall my hair feels much cleaner, softer and lighter. 4. The bar has only gotten slightly smaller, just enough to wear down the lines on it a little bit, in the few weeks I've used it. I have mid-back length thick hair. So I suspect it will last quite a while. That should help justify the price if you are normally a cheap shampoo person. 5. The smell is very pleasant and light, and not so shampoo-ish, if that makes sense. Overall I am quite pleased. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is that I have not noticed any less hair in the bottom of my shower, and I was hoping this would help with that too. ... show more

I like the quality of this product as far as how it works on your hair.it lathers well and makes my hair soft and shiny. The problem is that about halfway through the bar, it breaks into smaller pieces that are extremely difficult to use; therefore, you’ve paid for a full bar but end up only able to use half of it. I've used other shampoo bars, but this one produces the most suds by far. It also makes my hair soft and shiny. My hair is fairly thick, and transitioning to Gray. I usually often have issues with frizziness, but this product has made that almost non-existent.
