The bar worked exactly as described. I purchased this in hopes that the castor oil would do something positive to my hair, but it has not. Frankly it left my hair dry-however, I did not get a matching conditioner so maybe it would have been better if I did. I do use conditioner, it just wasnt the kitsch brand. I am going to try some of the other scents and products, especially the shampoo and conditioner combo and see how that works. I also used it on my skin which I will say left a nice feel and did not make my skin dried out. I would recommend this just would say make sure to get a conditioner combo with the shampoo.

I love these bar shampoos! The castor oil made my hair feel super soft but was too much conditioning for my hair I need a lighter treatment for every day so I’m using the tea tree shampoo and conditioner. The castor oil will be useful if my hair needs a moisturizing treatment. I have thick, curly hair so I thought the castor oil would be perfect but the tea tree is better for me.
