I ordered it back on Oct 30, so it's about 3 months now. I have only used about 1/4 to 1/5. The scent is amazing, I would recommend this scent over the Cade because it gives me surprise, I have no idea how to describe scents but I would say it smells like "dark" lavender. The smell will go away after a few minutes. It is quite useful after a bad shave, it wouldn't give you an instant heal but it is very good. I recommend it, you don't need to use much every time. It smells good and it works well. AMA

I LOVE this after shave balm to the extent that I repurchased it so as not to run out. 2.5 fluid ounces may not sound like a lot but four months later, I still have about 1/3 left in my first tube. A little dab of this very spreadable moisturizer covers a lot of area. I also find it soothes the dry skin peeling on my nose! The shea butter in this formula is just right for moisturizing and for spread-ability. The 'signature' L'Occitan' combination of herbal oils makes for an enjoyable and easy start to the day. I have picked up matching L'Occitane products (a roller ball deodorant; body/hair shower shampoo) to 'round things out.' Now shoppers will want to know 'what it smells like.' I say: sweet herbs, a hint of fennel, a bit of fresh mown lawn and the avocado-nutty type of aroma from the shea nut. Is there a bit of peppercorn as well? The fragrance on the product line holds up without knocking neighbors over in the elevator or the office.

this is the greayest treat in the shaving business... it has a light scent that the women come in close to catch a second whiff of... a little dab slightly larger than a pea covers my whole face and head (i'm a whole head shaver) as long as you apply while your skin is still warm and slightly moist... the moisturisers really hold up, just stay away from the eyes as sweating with this stuff can sting the eyes... i bought some for my dad but he wont use anything from france, haha... the company, as far as i have heard, has an entire "scent school" for the blind kids in their province, utilizing the hieghtened senses of smell these otherwise diminished kids have... i dont know if diminished is the right word, but i can imagine those kids are helped by feeling very usefull as all of this company's products incorporate natural flowers, spices and herbs for a fresh clean and sometimes even pungeant product line... visit a store if you get the chance, but you cant go wrong with this shave balm as a first purchase
