  • My favorite heatless curls set!
Color: 03 Aura
I’ve tried a few different heatless curl sets, and this one is by far one of the most comfortable to sleep in. The satin material is gentle on my hair, helps reduce frizz, and leaves my curls looking smooth and bouncy the next morning. It’s easy to put in, stays secure overnight, and creates beautiful, natural-looking curls without using any heat. I love waking up with my hair already styled, which saves me so much time getting ready. The quality is excellent, and everything you need comes in the set. If you’re trying to cut back on heat styling or want healthier-looking hair, I highly recommend giving this a try. It’s become a regular part of my nighttime routine! 💕 ... show more

  • Easy heatless curls during chemo
Color: 02 Charcoal
I use these every night as a heat-free way to curl my hair while going thru chemo cold-capping, and they’ve worked really well for me. I lightly dampen my hair with a spray bottle, wrap my hair around the curler, and let it set overnight. The curls come out really nice and, most importantly, they seem to last pretty much all day. I love that I can get curls without using heat, and the whole process is simple enough to become part of my nightly routine. Definitely happy with this set! ... show more

  • Love this!
Color: 01 Sunset Tie Dye
The only reason I docked a star is that I feel like this isn't long enough to tie in the back. For a cheap alternative to the Heatless Hair curling ribbon, this is pretty good! I have shoulder length hair and I wasn't sure if it would work or not because I hardly see any reviews on these with people with short hair. Especially people with layers like me! I highly recommend watching the YouTube video by Milabu called "foolproof heatless curls". She will show you how to do this do you get a more textured look. If you want a more wavy look, you can curl all your hair the same direction, but her method makes it pretty (in my opinion) and textured. The thing is, her hair is long and pretty and mine is short. So I ran into the problem of having prices of hair in the back that just didn't curl. What's super important to do, I have come to find out if you have the same kind of haircut as me, make sure you change how the curling ribbon is sitting on your head. Milabu (I don't know her real name, sorry) had the ribbon going from her front hair line to the nape of her neck. It works for her because she has long hair so it doesn't really matter where the curls start for her. But if I just do what she did, I would have non-curled pieces with curly ends, because the hair would be stretched over to the ribbon and would barely be able to wrap around if that makes sense. So instead of going down right towards the nape of my neck, I make sure the ribbon goes a bit more straight back. Now this takes practice. You need the pieces to sit nice and flat and tight onto the ribbon and not bunch up or you won't get as good of results. So as you wrap, make sure the ribbon is held so that it goes a bit more straight back so that it's more parallel to the floor. It won't be perfect and might still slant down, but it's better than putting it on like youd wear a headband. This will help you actually have curliness in the back. Also it will help you have curls at the top instead of having a flat area and then curls. Now I sometimes like to keep the center part like Milabu, but I often like to part it on the side after I take the curls out. I personally feel like that's so pretty and really showcases the curls with beautiful volume on the side. It also helps disguise your part. Also I like to tease it a bit on both sides b cause I swear my head is a triangle. Play around with it! Don't give up on the first try. If you want curls the way I had them, do it the way I suggested. And make sure you do use some sort of anti frizz to help tame it, especially if you have coarser hair like me. Overall I give this specific ribbon an 8/10. I wish it was longer and I wish the wire inside was more impressionable to my head. ... show more

  • Great Product! Fun & Easy to Use!
Color: 01 Sunset Tie Dye
Love that this product provides great curls without the use of heat! Researched various heatless curlers before choosing this Kitsch Heatless Curler. One of the main selling points was the sustainability feature of being made with chemicals safer for human health and is certified by OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100. I wanted to make sure I started out with a clean product as I would be wrapping my damp hair around this device. I placed the heatless curler and two scrunchies in a mesh garment laundry bag and washed these items using a bit of mild shampoo and cold water on the handwashing cycle of my washing machine. I hung the mesh bag containing the items on a hanger to dry overnight before using. The heatless curler contains a flexible coated wire surrounded by soft material and coated with a satin type fabric. I started the curling process by brushing my hair and spritzing it with water to dampen hair. I utilized a velcro roller on my bangs and ran the heatless curler through the velcro roller - see photo. I found wrapping my hair around the roller to be very easy and took about 5 minutes total. I parted my hair in the back. Then started wrapping the hair near my temple and grabbing a section of hair each time I wrapped. I also lightly spritzed some hair sections with additional water as I went along. The wrapping and grabbing additional sections of hair was similar to the French hair braiding process. I found that wrapping the hair sections close to each other and with a moderate tension worked well. At the end of each side I utilized a scrunchie to secure the end of the hair to the curler. When finished, I found that I could wrap the two ends of the heartless curler around each other at the lower back of my head, but wasn't certain if this would be comfortable to sleep on; I used a hair tie to secure the two ends of the heatless curler together at the back of my head instead. I have the Kitsch satin scarf, but didn't think to wrap my hair with it. Squeezing the heatless curler, I thought it felt very soft. I wore the curler to bed and laying on the curler took me about 20 mins to get use to. I was able to move the curler off my ear when sleeping on my side and found this was a comfortable position. I was also able to comfortably sleep on my back. Again, it was just a matter of taking about 20 minutes to get use to. I kept the curler in for approximately 8 hours. Removing the curler was very easy, the hair slipped away easily and didn't tangle at all. I like a bit tighter curl, so I used my fingers to separate the curls just a bit. If I would have ran my fingers through the curls, I think I could have created a looser curl or wave. I did not use a styling product in my hair and the curl has lasted throughout the day - I have fine hair that takes to curling easily. When I was finished utilizing the heatless curler, I placed the curler and scrunchies in the mesh laundry bag I had washed it in (not included) and put it on a hanger to completely dry; I wanted to make sure it was completely dry before storing it away. I feel this is a great product, that is reasonably priced, made of quality materials, well constructed, and was fun and easy to use! ... show more

  • Decent but not long enough
Color: 06 Micro Dot
A little difficult to use at first. If you have longer hair you need to buy the XL one because it won’t fit on this one.

  • It works
Color: 01 Sunset Tie Dye
I love the product. NOT going to lie you look kind of insane wearing it at night. Not sexy or cute at all, feel kind stupid wearing in next to my husband to sleep. BUT I do like the loose curls look. This is my second week wearing it and it makes me look done up and pretty all the time. Especially since I’m pregnant. Few things to consider. #1 my hair is naturally curly (but due to messsing with it a lot it’s crazy curls not cute) Sooo I have to blow dry my hair kinda straightish before wrapping OR else it will not dry overnight and look frizzy. I haven’t tested it because I don’t feel like wasting time. #2 if you wrap too tight the bottom will come out smaller curls like the first picture which I don’t like but it does loosen up after a day second picture. I don’t think the pics do justice tho. If I’m not washing my hair for a few days I will rewrap a day later to have it hold the curls near my face. Over all it’s not perfect BUT it is pretty good ... show more

comfy to wear to bed. I feel like I have used other rods that maybe dont bend and as much. So I put these in before beg and then bring the two ends together with a scrunchie. Hair comes out usually flawless. Love.

  • Beautiful curls
Color: 02 Charcoal
This product makes beautiful curls. It's easy to wrap hair around. (There are many YouTube videos with suggestions on variations.) it's comfortable to wear done up for a long time. I sleep on my back so I find it super comfortable… It's not in the way of the back of my head & the pillow. I haven't yet figured out the magic of what product to use or whatever to make the curls last long so therefore a drawback is if I want my hair curled well for an evening event I'm gonna look like an idiot if I wear this out in public. I know there's all those video shorts of the hot girl wearing them out in public and then undoing her long long locks in this very appealing way but… I'm not a hot girl and I will just look like an idiot. (I did buy a scarf but we'll see if it works for me to be like a house wife in the 50s wearing a scarf over her curler in the afternoon.) The leftover swoosh of the former curls that I'm left with that evening and the next day, are really pretty though… they're simply a mere shadow compared to the original. The one thing I wish that they would do differently is offer a shorter length. My hair is long (bottom of bra strap) and I like tight curls so I scrunch them up as much as I can. The extra length in the rod… That bottom fourth on each side... is really annoying to try and get the scrunchie around so that I can try and get curl in my hair ends as well. I also keep thinking that there should be a better way to secure the hair to the rod. A round, plastic clip would break... a Velcro wraparound could risk tearing hair… But it seems like there should be a better system. But either way, if I could get rid of that extra 5 inches off the bottom of each side it would be so much easier to get the scrunchie on as I twist it twist it twist it twist it trying to lay flat all the ends (and I don't even have layered hair). With practice it's quicker to do and I usually do it while watching TV. I've only tried it five times now but I'm a real fan. It makes my hair looks so freaking good that I have to like gain a point in hotness just because of how good it makes my hair look. Who doesn't love a good hair day?!? ... show more
