You will think oh my is this going to fit? But yes it will fit your Kitchen Aide stand mixer. It’s a large bowl and sits high but I can now make a double batch of cookies easily without having to get out my larger kitchen aid mixer. This clear bowl allows me to make sure all the ingredients are combined and it’s a solid glass bottom so you won’t need to replace it like a metal bowl if bends and moves and won’t sit on the mount of the mixer(talking from experience.) This clear glass bowl replaced a smaller stainless steel one that came with our kitchenaid mixer. It fits perfectly and locks securely into the base of the mixer. The slightly larger capacity and clear glass are welcome improvements while mixing ingredients for pastries and other recipes.

I like my purchase, had been wanting one for a long time and just couldn’t justify the expense. Glad I found this one at half the usual price. My only problem is I did not really realize how heavy it would be with a big pound cake mix in it. I still use it but it is a struggle to hold it up and scrap out a mixture.
