    • Quality tires! Great highway tire.
I purchased my truck brand new and it came with Firestone Transforce Ht tires, so I wanted to stick with what came from the factory. However I was in the parts business for several years, and one of my commercial customers was an ambulance company who purchased their tires through me. The only tire they would run on their units were the Firestone Transforce HT. The gentleman I dealt with swore by these tires and I see why. I have a little over 48,000 miles on the original tires and still have about half the tread depth remaining from new. I have had to replace 2 due to nails. I plugged them and they were fine, but I needed to tow a car trailer a long distance so I went ahead and replaced the damaged ones. I bought one at my local Firestone, and one from Amazon. The tire I recieved from Amazon was less than 6 months old, and the one I purchased from the Firestone was over a year old. The price was about the same for the tire, but I did get 5% cash back on Amazon by paying with my Amazon prime card. In conclusion if you're in need of a excellent 10 ply load range E highway tire I would highly recommend the Firestone Transforce Ht tire. If you want a freshly made tire I would reccomend buying on Amazon, or checking with where ever you buy the tire to verify the born on date. ... show more

These are the exact tire that came on the truck new, but so far we have had several of these come apart. The latest set doesn’t want to balance out correctly.
