Disappointed with Quality Control – Returning It I bought the KitchenAid Fully Automatic Espresso Machine KF8 as a surprise Christmas gift for my wife. Along with it, I got her a nice selection of coffee beans, which she unwrapped first. She was thrilled Then I brought out the espresso machine from the backroom. As I unpacked it, I noticed it looked like it had already been used. There was dried milk on the side, coffee grounds in the grinder, and the plastic near the water tank looked melted or bubbled. For something that costs this much, I would have expected much better quality control. Christmas morning is supposed to be special, but this was a huge letdown. My wife was understandably disappointed, and so was I. Needless to say, it's being returned. Very, very disappointed. ... show more

they give you a number of different drinks that it can make. HOWEVER, they are ALL just different ways of mixing coffee and cream. You must leave the machine on or it will automatically self clean wasting water
