Wow. I’m a hard sell and usually don’t waste time writing reviews unless I’m totally impressed or unbelievably disappointed with a product. I started cooking when I was ten years old. I learned how to properly sharpen and hone a knife before I reached puberty. This is absolutely the most functionally amazing knife set I’ve used. Ever. Razor sharp when I received them and I’ve been using them regularly and haven’t needed to sharpen them in about two weeks. If you’re used to the crap they try to pawn off as “quality” in the big-box stores locally, do yourself a favor and look for a flash sale, invest the cost and I’d have to say that I’d guarantee that there is not a chance that you’ll feel any disappointment in these knives. Also, they are just freakin beautiful! I felt not one shred of buyers remorse in purchasing these knives when I opened the box and when I used them, and that’s pretty rare for me. I have high standards in the kitchen and these knives did not disappoint at all. 100% ecstatic with this purchase!

I’ve never really been prone to buy expensive knives. I’ve always felt that the $20 set from Costco seemed to do the job just fine. Besides, if something happened, I could just go back and get another set. Well, my husband got me these knives for Xmas (with some prodding from me) and I was ready to give more expensive knives a chance. Of course if you wander through the knives section at Williams Sonoma you’ll see that these are, comparatively speaking, still inexpensive knives. Well, the knives arrived today and I couldn’t be happier. They have that layering seen in good knives and weapons, they are balanced nicely, they are sharp - boy are they sharp - and they’re nice looking. I’m pretty happy so far, but let’s see what happens after some time using them. I need to look to see what the warranty is on these knives, I never checked and that might be important and certainly important when selecting a knife set like this. But, back to the point, the knives seem to be very good quality and they are being sold at a good price compared to this quality elsewhere.

beautiful knives. the same set was on sale in basic black for 100.00 less, I splurged for the red. worth it. looks great on the counter. damascus blade patterns are gorgeous. . super sharp tools. . totally satisfied.

I waited until after messaging the company to write this review but unfortunately they are not helping me. So here's my review: These knives appeared to be nice when we received them. We loved the serrated knives especially. The problem is after 3 months, pretty much all of them started to rust. We had another brand for 20 years and they never rusted. I messaged the company and was told the following from Zora: "Stainless steel is a metal that is not easy to rust, but not being easy to rust does not mean it will never rust. If it is not cleaned after use and the juice of residual food contains acidic and alkaline substances, stainless steel kitchenware will also be contaminated and rust. For all stainless steel kitchenware, if it is not cleaned and dried after use, it will also rust. Therefore, be sure to dry it. As mentioned in our instruction manual, there are also notes. To remove rust, you can soak and wipe it with white vinegar. The soaking time can depend on the degree of rust, generally ranging from 15 minutes to several hours. The acetic acid in white vinegar can react with rust and dissolve it. After soaking, use a clean scouring pad or steel wool to gently wipe the surface of the knife to remove the rust. When wiping, pay attention to the strength to avoid scratching the knife." While I appreciate the cleaning instructions, I don't believe that after a such a short period of time that these should rust. It's not my first set of stainless steel knives ,and I know how to take care of them and clean then. The product is defective. I responded back to her after this message and she never got back to me. It's been 1 month. I pretty much wasted my money. Don't waste yours. Buyer beware.
