Here's my first impression of this mixer. First off, I am not a kitchen snob. I started baking/cooking for my family a couple years ago, now that I am on semi-retirement. So I am just starting to venture into the cooking and baking scene. I currently have a rinky-dink hand mixer I use for the kitchen. Having said that, I feel with this mixer, I moved up to the big leagues. To me it is powerful, it will mix my basic wet and dry ingredients easily. I am not sure why the higher speeds are even necessary as I never had to go over 3 on the 2 times I've used this so far. Are these things supposed to get messy? I am not sure, because any mess was non existent while using this. I like that. It comes with the handy attachments that I assume I will be using once I get my feet a little more wet with cooking up dishes. Speaking of which, these are simple to wash, rinse and dry by hand. I haven't put it through the dishwasher yet, but the instructions say it is safe to do so. Finally, let's talk about looks. I know they may be a knock off of that one other brand, but it just looks great with it's steel and grey finish. If it is going to sit out in the open, it looks handsome and heavy duty, without taking up too much space on the counter top. All in all, for my first big mixer, I am happy so far. I am hoping to get many practice miles on this bad boy.

I love to bake but only during the cooler months considering I live in Florida. I finally ordered a stand mixer after wanting one for years! Baking gifts for friends and family is something I love to do, and this Kitchen in the box Stand Mixer was the perfect helping hand to make light of the mixing work. The mixer set up quickly and I put it right to work. There are six speed settings making this mixer versatile for a variety of uses. From mixing dough to whipping eggs, it does it all just as well as the name brand mixers. The anti-slip base is a helpful feature so that it doesn't slide around on my countertop. Bonus that it looks really cool sitting on display in my kitchen. It is a classic looking kitchen tool that looks almost like artwork in a kitchen. It also makes me want to bake more often, which my friends certainly won't complain about. At the time of this review, the price is $169, which seems slightly too high for being a non name brand. However, it gets the job done and feels well built and strong. I expect to use this mixer for many years to come!

At the time of this review, this mixer is selling for $169.99. If the price drops to $99.99 or less, it is a good deal. Otherwise, it is not worth it. This is a typical Chinese-made mixer sold under different brand names by various sellers. Given how common it is, the usual price point is around $99.99 or less. Most of these mixers are essentially identical. Now let’s get into the product review itself. I will compare this to my KitchenAid mixer, as I imagine most people will naturally make that comparison given the significant difference in price. First, the weight of this mixer is much lighter than the KitchenAid. You can easily place it on a high shelf without struggling, unlike the KitchenAid, which is much heavier. This makes it more practical for storage and handling. Second, this mixer includes a lid to prevent ingredients from flying out. While KitchenAid may sell a similar attachment separately, mine did not come with one in the box. This lid is especially helpful when mixing dry ingredients, keeping the area cleaner. Third, the large knob to control the speed is intuitive and easy to use. The blue LED ring around the knob adds a nice touch. I find this design much simpler to operate compared to the slider on a KitchenAid. Fourth, the release mechanism to raise the mixing head is easier to use than the one on my KitchenAid. Fifth, the power of this mixer matches my KitchenAid for the types of tasks I use it for. To summarize, this mixer is cheaper than the KitchenAid, easier to use, and far easier to transport. For a casual user like me, this is an obvious choice. I will note that my KitchenAid is over 20 years old and still works perfectly, which speaks to its durability. You can also attach various accessories to the front port of the KitchenAid, which is not an option with this mixer. However, I have never actually used the front port, and I suspect many others do not either. Do I believe this mixer will last 20+ years like my KitchenAid? Probably not. But for someone like me, who only uses a mixer a few times a month, that does not matter. For casual use, this is a great mixer, provided you can get it for $99.99 or less. If you are a daily user, you are likely not considering this product and would stick with a KitchenAid anyway.
