I wear a size 12-14. I ordered the XL and they’re perfect. No disrespect to old people, but these shorts have a very distinct smell. I’ve washed them once and still get a whiff of something and wonder what stinks. And then remember, it’s the shorts. The comfort is so great that I’m not going to get rid of them, but I’m going to hope that continual washing gets rid of the smell. For referece, 5"1, 126lbs. Nice wash and cut pattern, stretchy fit. Ordered a medium based off sizing chart. They are not as boxy and loose fit as I was hoping. The medium fit a little loose but hugged my shape, if I sized up for a looser fit thay would've bulged out. They fit right, for a cury fit. If you have volume in your butt and thighs, these shorts will not fit like the descriptiion. Will be returning. ... show more

Nice amount of stretchiness. I usually go a size up on shorts as I don’t like them tight. I did so this time - they fit comfortably loose. I imagine they will probably get almost too loose after wear, but I am ok with that. I would suggest your usual size.
