This is the best Kirby game to date. It truly feels like a modernized 3D-world sequel to the original Kirby game on the NES. The graphics are good, for what they are. Before buying, downloaded the demo. The gameplay was fun, but the framerate was low and choppy. Mind you, the demo is of the Switch 1 version. Rest assured, the Switch 2 version runs smooth and does not have this issue. I'm currently playing on the harder difficulty, and it's pretty easy. Just a slight challenge with the combat against some of the enemies, but nothing that will cause you struggle with, maybe not even losimg a 1up. There is a lower difficulty that is supposed to be even easier, if you need it. It is pricey for an older game, but it has the Switch 2 upgrades and the DLC included. I find the replayability to be high, and I can see myself playing it again, so I find it to be worth it. ... show more

This game is all around wonderful! If u are worried that it begins much too easy…it actually does get harder later on!!! Graphics and gameplay are perfect. Only complaint is that the storyline is thrown together and uncompelling haha…but that’s always true with Kirby games.

MUST BUY WITH A NEW SWITCH! I grew up playing Kirby games on a game boy advance...so the technology has sure come a long way. Kirby is back and adorable in this fun action adventure with up to 2 players! I have been playing solo. [So my experience is coming from solo only] the levels are not super difficult but also not super hold your hand easy. Its a super relaxing adventure if you're an adult! I hope to play with my son in the summer! ... show more

This was a Christmas gift for my kids (boys 9 & 11) and it’s one of their favorites. They love that it’s two-player so they can play together. Fun, colorful, and very kid-friendly. Great option if you want a game siblings can enjoy at the same time.

A Bright, Fun Adventure with a Few Rough Edges Kirby and the Forgotten Land – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Star-Crossed World brings Kirby into a new generation with a mix of charm, creativity, and lighthearted fun that the series is known for. The core gameplay still feels very much like Kirby—accessible, colorful, and full of clever abilities—but now it’s expanded with more open 3D environments that encourage exploration and experimentation. The Switch 2 upgrade gives the game a smoother frame rate, better textures, and more detail in environments, which makes Dream Land’s transition into this semi-open world style even more enjoyable. The main campaign is delightful, with Kirby’s copy abilities shining brighter than ever. Using the upgraded powers to solve puzzles and take down enemies never gets old, and the “Mouthful Mode” returns with goofy but surprisingly useful mechanics. The new Star-Crossed World expansion adds even more variety, offering fresh levels, extra bosses, and a story extension that gives fans more reasons to revisit the game. The design of these new stages feels creative and challenging without being overwhelming, which keeps it welcoming for players of all ages. That said, there are still a few drawbacks.
