The media could not be loaded. Just back from game and couldn't appreciate enough how good of a paddle it is. Absolute grip and it strikes well despite being super light weight. For this price its absolutely recommend.

Let me preface by stating I am NOT a pickleball pro, basically only been playing for 2 years now, however I did play a lot of tennis, and also ping-pong, so this sport was a natural progression for me and I can hold my own on a court. My personal breakdown of pickleball paddles. Wood - Cheapest, Lowest quality, heavy, not a lot of spin, for the beginner at best, I don't recommend. Fiberglass - inexpensive to moderately priced, Lighter, more responsive than wood, decent spin depending on finish, can be a great paddle for the beginner all the way to the advanced player. Graphite/Carbon Fiber - "Usually" most expensive, light, also usually the best spin, intermediate to advanced / pro player on the better paddles. This Kirate paddle falls into the "Carbon Fiber" category, one of the more popular choices for the serious players. Tried this out yesterday and was pleased with the performance, for the price. Fairly lightweight, decent ball striking, comfortable handle/grip, but most important I look for ball control and this lacked in that department, the selling price showed there. The "Carbon" surface is very smooth, and I wasn't able to get nearly the spin I get with my Joola paddle (but keep in mind the Joola was over $200). For the low selling price ($33 when I ordered) it is a decent paddle for a beginner to intermediate, but for a "Carbon" paddle it doesn't have the ball control the more expensive paddles do.
