I'm glad I took a chance on this chandelier. There weren't many reviews on this wagon wheel style chandelier at the time I purchased (reviews are usually one of the first things I check before making a purchase on Amazon). But the light arrived on time and in perfect condition. My living room is two stories tall so I used all the extension rods included and could have even used a few more. This is a really poor-quality Chinese light. first, if you think it will arrive undamaged from shipping guess again. The packing is really poor and sockets get bent and loose and the paint gets badly damaged. Next, the quality of factory assembly is bad, very bad. sockets are loose so you can't tighten up the bulb without the internal guts spinning and causing a short. if you get the bulb in now you can't get it out because everything spins. Don't buy this light this is my warning to you... ... show more

Most transformative lighting I have ever bought. It looks fantastic inside and also from the outside looking in. So glad I did not succumb to the same-old-same-old! The professional electrician said it was NOT easy to install. But it didn't take him more than 1 hour to do.     • You better have three, and a dowel or a long rake.

I have installed 100's of fixtures and this is one of the harder ones. It looks nice once installed, but took a while to get it into position. You may need three people to help, plus we used a rake with a wide handle to hold the center of it up it in place while I took a breather and then finished the rest of the wiring. My contractor installed this, but the electrician said it was fairly easy. It is pretty good value for the money. I give it 4 stars because it says it's a wood look, but definitely looks like a white wash paint on metal rather than a faux wood. I really wanted the brown to match our decor but my contractor originally ordered the wrong size in brown and when we reordered the white was the only one in stock. I am pleased with both, we put the smaller one in our stair well and the compliment each other perfectly despite being different colors. ... show more

Read all reviews before purchasing. This is NOT wood, it is all metal but still looks great. There were some small imperfections but you cannot see them when hung. Sturdy light, the looks is exactly what I was going for and the price was good. I purchased the 48 inch and it’s great.
