Cons: 1. It is described as a 10 x 10 pergola and it is if you measure to the end of the rafters. The approximate canopy area is 8 x 8. 2. It comes as a kit with over 40 pieces of metal and 80-100 screws. 3. It has pictorial rather than assembly instructions 4. The curtain rods will shift and come apart when retracting the canopy. 5. If you get it together you will be hard-pressed to take it apart to return it. Pros: 1. The material appears to be of good quality 2. Once assembled you will have a good Gazebo 3. This canopy was a nightmare to put together. The instructions are only in pictures and very small at that and hard to understand, you kind of go in blind when putting it together. And don't be surprised if you need to move beams around like we did. Figured out the canopy did not fit so we had to move them on the inside of the end areas and of course some of the screws got stripped when tightening them so we needed to purchase a special took to correct this. And the canopy top area is not that well made, I can see small pin holes in mine so I am afraid it will rip in no time. And if you are short like me the pull strap they give you is really hard to reach, would have been nice it it was longer and maybe off to the side and not in the middle area....overall not happy with this purchase at all. ... show more

Instructions are really hard to understand, unclear, wrong and complicated. I followed the instructions step by step and by the end of the assembly, the canopy was a kind of small. I figure it out that 2 poles and a beam (from the exterior) was assembly reverse. One of the pole and beam didn't match with one screw hole. Canopy didn't clip with the hooks. Totally in desagree with one of the pictures, their is no way to fit a car and having plenty of space... ... show more

    • Very vague instructions
This comes with the most unclear instructions that I have ever used. Had to take sections back apart to re assemble due to very vague directions. Took me over 5 hours to assemble. It is nice but smaller than I expected.

    • Don’t be fooled by the sizing! Not accurate
It is not the height or width that it says it is. Put it on the patio and the height went up to my face instead of over me making it actually useful. We had to build on to it to make it taller. It is wobbly and not as secure as we had hoped. It works now after adjustments but wish it came how it was described. ... show more

    • A very good value and very easy construction
Well designed mechanically, though i modified the construction sequence a bit. I assembled the upper parts to the top vertical posts, and then raised a complete upper to the lower vertical. All construction was at workable level without the need to move a ladder many times.
