would have given higher ratings if the games had been preloaded and the system would be a connect and play. You have to download software to get the files and then unzip them all and then move them to the memory card.

It has 256 nin64 games. I've had really no issues with them playing, but couldn't get star wars rogue squadron and another star wars game to start up. It has 57 ps1 games, no problem with any of them. Here's a few hit on the ps1, metal gear solid, almost all Crash Bandicoot games but the first one, mega man 8,x4,x5,x6, duke nukem, alundra 2, castlevania son,castlevania chronicles, medal of honor, metal of honor underground, resident evil director's cut,2,3. Tony hawk pro skater 1,2,3, and many more. 1539 nes games, 175 neo-geo, 81 neo-geo cd, 1193+890 genesis, 24 dreamcast, 22 psp, 4031 nin DS, 1081 gba, 493 gameboy, 548 gameboy color, 29 virtual boy, 1232 snes. Plus many more systems with alot of preloaded roms. I've played most of the games that have a hard time running on these emulators and I really didn't have any issues except the 2 star wars games wouldn't load on the nin64, I really wanted those 2 to work but it might be the rom quality not the device. First I would recommend backing this SD card up with a better (samsung) one. It takes a bit of getting ( settings) used to otherwise this is a retro gamers dream. This console has an unbelievable amount of games & I definitely recommend super console x cube.

I was skeptical this would be worth the price. So many games on a cheap device that emulates code at a reasonable framespeed? Doubtful... BUT for the price and the nostalgia I was curious enough to buy it. Let me say that if this was $50 more then it would not be worth it... but at the price I purchased it, it was worth the price. It is a simple, plug-and-play deivce. It came with an HDMI cable, power adapter and two Playstation-like knock off controllers that are battery operated (AAA bateries not include). If you already have a blue-tooth compatible controller then it will probably work with this system, if you don't then the included controllers are okay, but not great — but you can't expect perfection for such a cheap price. Also, be aware that whoever produced this product seems to have simply collected a lot of open source software and mass-dumped ROM files onto a memory card. You will need to have at least some average-to-above-average technical skill to understand the UI. Also, not all ROM files seem to have been fully tested and some do not run. I have found that most of everything runs, but every once in a while there is a game that either won't adapt to the controllers or simply won't run at all. The user interface to find and organize games is just good enough to not be useless, but be prepared to spend some time getting used to all of the menu triggers and systems that it uses to deliver games. Each emulator has its own internal menu system in addition to the system's overall menu system. I spent an hour adding games to a favorites list only to discover I had added them to the wrong favorites list... but I was able to easily figure out how to add to the correct one. So, if you are an average-or-better techie and nostalgic about video games, consoles. and arcade cabinets, then this is definitely a good place to start. Came with photographed instructions on setting up the controller. Also network but I'm not sure the network is needed or not. Supports wired or wireless. Once the controller is setup you can pick what console you want and it will give you a list of the games in alphabetical order. Yes you have to scroll through the games but it does go into a fast scroll mode after a page or so. If you think about it with 50000+ games how else can you do this? When you select a game it automatically loads the required emulator and starts the game. I was looking for a couple very rare games for the c64. It didn't have them I was surprised. So I loaded the 50000 game list and found them for the atari 800 emulator. Selected them and started playing! I have been gaming ever since consoles started in the early/mid 70s, and this is the ultimate system! Even had my old star path supercharger games for my atari 1200 (vhc) I have in the attic. Now I can play escape from the mindmaster again! It is my favorite atari 1200 game. ... show more

After less then a day of operations the system does not recognize either controller. I made sure that the batteries are fresh. I ensured that there was a clear line of sight between the dongel(s) and the controller(s) and I reset the system several times to no effect. I have tried pressing all the buttons on the controller(s) to try and configure them with no reaction. System is now useless after 1 day. Buyer beware. ... show more

I was skeptical at first, but after looking through the menus, the many consoles, this thing is great! Found the games I used to play as a kid. It even has a save slot so you can save the stages in games like Galaga and make it to Stage 100. Only wish it had a GameCube and PS2 emulator. Some of the in game display gets cut off (very little) like the number of lives are left but ninety-nine percent of the game your viewing is very playable and viewable. ... show more
