Overall this is just fine for my 4 year old, but using a zinus memory foam mattress, I felt it was supportive enough so I put cardboard under it. The only thing keeping the mattress from coming off are the 4 small handles on each end, there’s no “lip” to keep it from moving around. Otherwise it’s fine. I bought this frame for my little sisters new twin mattress that we also bought on Amazon, i wouldnt recommend thid frame for anyone / kid over 80 lbs, it is a bit flimsy but it gets the job done

Love the bed it was everything that I wanted. Just those little wheel that you put on the bottom, they are round so the bed Is hard to keep in place when trying to put the sheets on. But the grandson loves the ride lol

This trundle frame is stored under my 5 year olds bed. Used for my 1 year old. Easy to assembly. You will need a screwdriver. It is very sturdy their Daddy falls asleep on this multiple times. Make sure to center the mattress or the corners will sink in the frame. 5 children and one adult fall asleep on this every weekend. This also stands up to 5 children jumping on it. Rolls well. The tires don’t jam. This lies low to the ground making it a great toddler bed that can be grown into over the years. This is also great for a spare for sleep overs. Downfall is the corners (like all beds). When the kids are careless they hit the corners with their toes when running out of their room. You also have to warn them about the handles depending on your mattress thickness. So pleased with this purchase. Plan to order more in the future for weekend sleepovers. ... show more

I bought this trundle frame along with DHP Contemporary Design Daybed Metal Frame ($85). [Construction and Packaging] Compared to the bed frame, this trundle is constructed with heavier / sturdier metal. Also the packaging was more secure than DHP bed frame. It is more compact (can go into the trunk of a midsize sedan), yet has more protective stuffs to safeguard against UPS/FedEx handlers' mistreatment. DHP bed frame came with a large ding on one of the main piece (A piece), while this trundle didn't come with any ding. [ Assembly ] Well it doesn't take that long. My tip is unlike the manual, I'd attach the wheels (6 of them) first. There's two end pieces and one middle piece; they are connected via two round cylinder piece. This makes it easy to assemble, but I think my end result was not 100% straight, but so far everything seem ok. I cut out the box that came with DHP bed frame and placed it between this trundle and memory foam mattress, and it works perfect. [Wheels / Moving it back and forth] It rolls very easily. My wife likes it, and she has thin/weak arms. ... show more
