This stepladder puts me almost as high up as I could possibly need to be! Easy to put together, would have been easier if I'd been doing it alone. lol I haven't added the hand rails yet because I wanted to try it without them. I think I will add one side of rails just in case. After I had it standing up, it was difficult at first to fold it back down. My grandson (14 yr old) didn't have much problem with it. I like the wide steps, making it feel more stable. I wish I could have gotten one with a single step higher so I could climb onto the loft in my shed! Perfect for reaching anything in my little house, though.

I'm a little older, and needed this ladder for stability to change lightbulbs, reach top cabinets, and such. It's very sturdy and well made. I wish the packaging were the same. When I got the package, it was almost shredded. The ladder's legs were hanging out of the bottom, and the box was falling apart. I don't think it was the carrier as much as the quality of the box. I've read reviews just like this, so maybe ask the manufacturer to do better.

Liked the taller height, side rails and tool platform. Disliked the issues with the screws not easily tightened and one appeared to be stripped. When we tried out the ladder in our kitchen, the right side rail popped out at the top while in use. Very startling and gives more safety concern vibes. Overall, it will work but is not as sturdy as our 3 step ladder.
