I decided to invest in an electric back massager due to a lot of lower back pain. I have to say this one fits the bill. I do agree with the other reviews that it can hurt at times, but I found this only happens when your muscles are really tight. If you can withstand a few minutes of discomfort, you’ll find a payoff at the end. Overall, I recommend this item for the different modes and the ability to give a good tissue massage.

I am in LOVE with the KingPavonini Back Massage device. I now have the perfect home office chair set up. The massager comes with a detachable long cord that plugs into your regular outlet or surge protector. The control panel is attached to the massager by a cord in the back next to where the electric cord attaches on your right side. It has a long enough cord that it comes around to the front easily. The strap on the back allows it to stay in place on your office chair. No worries about it slipping out from under you. There are three different settings: Off/On button with high and low levels of massage intensity, Red Light Intensity Button that allows Off/ Low/ High, and a Mode button that allows you to choose a full back, low back or upper back massage. Very easy to operate. You must use this devise on a firmer chair. A soft couch or over stuffed chair will not allow for proper alignment with your body and will work against the massage function. Alternate uses suggested are calf massage or arm massage and those can be done on a softer surface. I tried both and it was nice, but the back massage is what keeps me coming back for more! I do recommend that you start at the low intensity setting and get use to it. Just like a massage from a human if you have very tight muscles there may be some soreness after use at first. The massage units feel like fingers moving up along the spine then out down and around in a circular motion, and this travels up and down the spine in full spine mode. I was really surprised on my first use how similar it feels to a spa massage along the spine. There is a built in time limit (15 minutes) on the massage function but you can always turn it back on again if you want more. I have found that the red light function that runs along your spine works best when wearing light clothes. A heavy sweater or sweat shirt block the effect. Compared to the Red Light Therapy device we use on veterinary patients and sometimes ourselves at work the Red Light Heat function on this devise is very genltle and comfortable even on the high setting. Start on low and determine how it works for you. If you sit for long periods of time, have a bad back like me, or just want something for a bit of pampering/self care this devise is the one for you. I love this back massager so much that I find myself eager to get home so that I can use it. I may have to get one for my office chair at work! I've been using it for a week now and know that it is something that I will continue to use even after the novelty has worn off. My back feels so much better, truly amazing. Now I have to master how to position it for a neck massage! IMHO Well worth the current price of $99.99

This back massager surprised me in a really good way. The rolling and shiatsu style nodes actually move up and down your back instead of staying in one spot, which makes it feel much closer to a real massage than most seat pads I’ve tried. The cushion layer keeps it from feeling too hard or pokey, but you still get deep pressure in tight areas like the lower back and shoulders. It fits nicely on an office chair or couch without sliding around, and the ultra slim design means you can leave it in place without it feeling awkward. It is especially helpful after long days sitting or carrying kids around. For the price, it gives a very satisfying massage and feels well made.

This back massager is fantastic! The up-and-down rolling really hits the right spots, and the cushion layer makes it very comfortable even during longer sessions. The material feels high quality and durable, so it seems like it will last a long time. It is easy to use, just strap it to a chair, plug it in, and turn it on. I was really pumped to receive this as my lumbar area has been hurting lately. I'm happy to say that this massager feels great! I felt instant relief. Resting on a chair, it's about 21" tall x 17" wide at its widest section (53 cm x 43 cm). The back has a handle strap near the top that lets you carry it around, and an elastic strap in the middle section that lets you secure the massager to a chair. The elastic strap has a "buckle" thing that lets you extend or tighten the strap to fit different chair sizes. It's very easy to set up. Simply plug the AC adapter (a cigarette adapter is also included for use in a car) into a power source and plug the cable into the massager. The power cable is about 6.5 feet (197cm) long, which is pretty long. The massager basically works by moving kneaders that rotate and massage your back, while moving up and down the massager. Worth noting that it shuts off automatically after 15 minutes for safety reasons, but you can turn it right back on again if you wish. There is a controller attached to the massager on the right side, with three buttons other than the power button. - Mode button: Switch between full back, upper back, and lower back. - Intensity button: Switch between medium, high, and low massage intensity. From what I can tell, "intensity" here means the speed that the kneaders rotate. - Red Light button: Controls the red light therapy feature (low, medium, high, off). This is a wide strip of light going down the center of the massager. I didn't know much about red light therapy before this, but it's literally a light that supposedly has beneficial effects when it penetrates your skin. You can do more research about it. I personally turn it off. I'm so happy with this product and anticipate using it a lot!
