The size was perfect and the bed expanded exactly as described. We ordered 3 for an AIRBNB and they are very comfortable as well. The firmness is mid to firm and it feels very nice. It has a dark top which will help to protect it for STR.

Beware if when you open it but this is a perfect fit for my bed along with the comfort I experience while laying on it not too firm or too soft mine was so good that I recommend my brother to purchase one so now we have 2 of these in our household we both purchased the 12 inch size
