Sturdy, well-designed bed frame with a nice LED light

Very sturdy and easy to assemble. The frame feels solid, especially the triangular supports near the headboard. Once all the screws are tightened, the bed doesn’t wobble or feel loose. The LED light is soft and relaxing at night. So far, I’m very happy with the quality.

Easy assembly, lower quality materials
I got this bed to put in my teenager's room. Overall, we're both pretty pleased with it. It was fairly easy to assemble and I was able to do it on my own and it really didn't take too much time. I'd say I had it put together in 30 minutes or so (factoring in outside distractions!) so it's not a complicated piece of furniture. The bed has a fabric drawer that can slide under the end of the bed, otherwise the space underneath is empty and you can toss a few more storage bins underneath if needed. The headboard has an outlet built in and provides multiple outlet options. Regular, USB, USB-C, etc. Nice and convenient! It also comes with a strip of LED lights that go under the top of the headboards and you can rotate colors. Adds a nice touch! My only real thing to note is that the bed is a price, but it's not necessarily the highest quality materials. I found some of the metal pieces to feel kind of flimsy and not terribly sturdy. Some of it felt like it would bend if you applied too much pressure. However, once everything is assembled, I don't feel like there are any issues. Wouldn't recommend for a younger kid who may still be in the jumping on the bed phase though...

Assembles in less than 2hrs all metal frame
I’m very happy with this twin bed frame and was impressed by how easy it was to assemble. The built-in charging station is incredibly convenient, and the LED lights add a nice modern touch to the room. The storage headboard and underbed drawers provide plenty of extra space for keeping things organized without taking up additional room. The frame feels sturdy, doesn’t squeak, and supports the mattress well without needing a box spring. Overall, it’s a great value with a combination of style, storage, and functionality that I would definitely recommend.

Sturdy, Functional, and Perfect for Small Spaces!
This twin platform bed frame is a fantastic all-in-one solution. I got it for a small guest bedroom and it has exceeded my expectations in both style and functionality. The frame is made of a very sturdy metal platform base. The slats are strong and close together, so there is excellent mattress support and no need for a box spring at all. Once assembled, it feels extremely solid and noise-free. No squeaking or wobbling when getting in and out of bed, which was a big concern for me. The headboard is the real star. It has a wooden shelf on top that is perfect for storing a book, glasses, alarm clock, and phone. The built-in LED light strip underneath the top shelf gives off a warm, soft ambient glow - perfect as a nightlight and it looks really modern and cozy in the evening. It also has a built-in charging station with USB ports and power outlets, so you can charge your phone and other devices right from the bed without needing extension cords. Very convenient. The large fabric drawer underneath at the foot of the bed is surprisingly spacious. It glides smoothly and is perfect for extra linens, blankets, or clothes. It's a great space-saver and helps keep the room organized. The fabric material is sturdy and doesn't look cheap. The assembly was straightforward. All the parts were labeled, the instructions were clear with illustrations, and it took one person about an hour with the included tools. The design is sleek and modern in black, it matches easily with any decor. Overall, this is a smart, well-designed bed frame that combines style, storage, and modern features like LED lighting and charging ports. Good, not great. Mixed bag overall.
I have two kids (middle school & elementary school aged) who increasingly need charging ports at night for white noise machines, alarm clocks, etc. I picked up two of these Insdiy Beds - this one with the under-bed storage, and another one without it. I was excited about the bit of storage space in the headboard, kinda thought the lighting was cool, and was looking forward to the plug-ins. Overall, I feel this bed is good, but not great. Here are my major concerns: 1) The cord from the plugins is crazy short, and in both cases, I had to use an extension cord to reach the closest outlet, even when the closest outlet was just a few feet away. Without an extension cord. 2) The outlet casing / box itself is very visible when the bed is completed. The product images apparently edited this out, because you can't see the box in the product photos. On the other hand, the LED strip is nearly invisible if you look straight on, and they included adhesive cord organizers to help hide the cords. <3 3) The LED lights are neat and the remotes work well. However, If you have more than one of these beds close together, please note that the remotes will control BOTH beds. My 12 year old was up late playing around with flashing lights, and it turned on his little brother's lights. 4) The mobile app that can control the LED lights is hot garbage. It struggles to find the lights. If you have more than one (like us), it's hard to tell which light belongs to which kid. You can set a schedule for the lights to turn on and off automatically (cool!), but you can only set one time for all lights (not cool!). So I can't set different schedules for different bedtimes, and I can't set multiple "off" schedules for my kids who forget to turn them off. 5) The frame itself is fine, but there are some cosmetic imperfections on both of the ones I got. The frame seems kinda thin, but it does seem sturdy. 6) The rolling drawer was a HUGE pain to assemble. The drawer desperately needs some sort of back stopper or track. It nearly always gets caught on one of the bedframe legs, It nearly always gets crooked when pulling in and out, and it can be pushed back infinitely. There are screws visible in the bottom of the drawer, and they could get caught on clothing (like knitted sweaters or something). Overall, the frame seems thin but sturdy, the instructions were fairly good, and we haven't had any issues so far. However, some of the big selling points (plug ins, LED lighting) all have drawbacks (need extension cord, outlet box is very visible, controlling lights is finicky). The app that comes with the LED lights allows for a decent amount of customization, but it is such a pain to use that it almost isn't worth it. I do think that these are cool overall, and despite the flaws, I do appreciate having multiple ways to plug in devices near the bed.

Packed with useful features and great for a spare room
We love this bed frame, it works and is easy to put together exactly as expected, There were no issues with it at all. It is a low cost solution for a spare bed, got this for a child's room as a spare bed and I've actually been really impressed with how much functionality they've managed to fit into one bed frame. The headboard shelves are genuinely useful for books, water bottles, stuffed animals, and all the random bits that seem to accumulate around a kid's bed. I also like the built-in charging station as it saves having cables trailing across the room. we use that for a yoto charger and reading lamp. The underbed storage drawer and the space for more is a big plus for me. In a house with two kids, I'm always looking for extra storage space, and these are handy for spare bedding, pajamas, toys, or seasonal clothes. The LED lighting is a fun feature too. It's probably not something I would have specifically sought out, but my kids think it's cool, and it adds a nice bit of personality to the room and makes my son feel more grown up. The frame itself feels sturdy once assembled and doesn't require a box spring, which helps keep the overall cost down. Assembly took a while, but that's pretty standard for furniture with this many components. Its not like.. amazing quality , it cost $89.99 so a pretty good price for this kind of design with the lights and everything. Overall, this feels like a well-thought-out bed frame that combines storage, charging, shelving, and lighting into one piece of furniture. If you're furnishing a child's room or a smaller bedroom where every bit of storage counts, it's a practical option and offers quite a lot for the money.

Worth It for the Price, Despite Minor Issues
This Insdiy twin bed frame offers a lot for the price, especially at around $90. It’s sturdy and feels solid once assembled, and overall it’s a usable, lightweight platform bed that works well for a spare or occasional-use setup. Unboxing took about 10 minutes, and assembly for the bed itself took about 2 hours. The most frustrating part was definitely the wheels for the fabric storage drawer—installing them took another 30 minutes of fiddly work with tiny bolts and nuts, and honestly, I wouldn’t bother with them again. The rest of the assembly was fairly straightforward, but the instructions could definitely be clearer, especially the diagrams. There were also a couple of inconsistencies, like missing instructions to secure the second shelf early on, which only showed up near the end and required installing screws in a tight upside-down space—trust me, install those screws to secure the shelf right away, there’s no reason not to and it will save some hassle. The LED setup was confusing as well: it includes two strips, but the instructions only clearly account for one, leaving an extra strip unused. The LEDs initially turned on with the remote, but after that I haven’t been able to get them to turn back on again without using the app—and since this is a rarely used space, I’m not planning to download an app just for the lights. Brightness also looks much stronger in photos than in reality, though the color options and dimming worked well with the remote. On the positive side, the built-in charging station is very convenient, with two outlets and two USB ports, and it charged my phone quickly with a cable connection. The storage drawer is useful, though the wheels feel more trouble than they’re worth. I also wish the bottom shelf had been positioned differently to better hide cords and the power box, since they remain visible due to the layout, and I’d maybe be a little concerned about kids being tempted to mess with the exposed power unit since it sits right under the shelf. Overall, it’s a stable and functional bed frame that’s fairly easy to assemble and hard to beat for the price, with some design and instruction issues but solid value for an occasional-use spare bed.
