This item is perfect for what we needed! It is easy to install blocks the sun provides some privacy and allows us to still see our. My only issue was the plastic spikes were not strong enough to hold the screen down when it was windy. So we bought stronger metal ones. We have yet to use them.

I am currently a full-time RVer and have been looking for something to help add privacy without doing any sort of temporary privacy fence. This honestly is perfect. Quality appears to be top notch and install took maybe 5 minutes alone. There are many other options on Amazon but they are all are just a full mesh/screen where this is more of a hybrid with only a portion of it being a semi see through material. Not sure how something like this will hold up over time but will try to update this interview in a few years. Highly recommend.

This shade works very well to keep the sun off and to provide a measure of privacy. It is intended to hook up to certain types of RV awnings. We have a motorhome, but our motorhome does not have the type of awning this shade is designed for. However, we believe we can find an alternate method of attaching it to our awning. In the meantime, we are not on the road and are staying in a house temporarily. The temperatures here in Central Texas have been extreme, so we decided to try the shade on the patio of the house. It works great. We attached it temporarily to a TV cable that runs along the edge of the patio cover using heavy binder clips. That may sound crazy, but it actually works really well right now when it is very hot and there is usually almost no wind. It makes the patio much more enjoyable. The shade itself is well made of heavy material that is sewn well. I can't speak to how well the intended mounting works, but when an unexpected thunderstorm came along two days ago and the wind picked up, the shade held up well. One of the bungees came apart where we had the shade staked to the ground, but the shade itself did fine. I like that the shade is not just one large screen, but instead is fabric with screen window openings. It is possible to see out but still have some privacy as well. I also like the storage bag it comes with. The zippered opening is one of the large sides, making it very easy to get the shade back in the bag. This is an excellent shade for the way we have used it so far, and we look forward to finding a way to mount it on our motorhome's awning when we get back on the road.

We recently bought our first camper so I wasn't exactly sure this would fit, but planned to adjust if necessary. Our awning fabric was replaced by the previous owners about 5 or so years ago prior to our purchase and is slightly smaller than it should be (which is why I was skeptical of this being too big). It fits perfectly on our awning arm with no adjusting necessary! Installation was easy, just feed the straw like plastic through the notch in the awning winder all the way across and then raise the awning back up and stake the sunshade to the ground. The plastic straw like guide was a bit long, but that is good to get it started and fed through and leaves room for error, also helps for removing if you want to before closing the awning back up. Because of the design going right into the winder arm, it can be rolled up with the awning fabric as well. This sunwall gives added privacy from other campers and added shade, but still allows the needed airflow under the awning, preventing it from getting too hot underneath. I didn't realize when I ordered that it wasn't entirely mesh and was more like a window with the sidewall-type material around it, but that is even better in my opinion! I'm hoping that this design will help to cut down on some of the rain splatter when camping as well - we haven't had rain yet to know for sure. I'm very happy and satisfied so far with this awning sidewall! Very durable and great price! Now to look for some for the sides too and it'llbe like a little screen porch outside our camper! 😉

We boondock on our vacant land in a spot where our future, forever home will be. The sun rises on the "drivers side" of the camper and after noon, comes over the "passenger side" or the front entrance of our camper. We do not have any trees near us and after 12pm, in the hot sun, it makes being outside unbearable since the awning doesn't help after 1pmish. We came across this awning shade and tried it out today. I was worried it won't work but it was super easy to set up. We rolled out the awning as far as it could go and found the channel to put it into. With the help of my fiancé on one side, I was able to slide the shade in place pretty easily. Then we tried it out. It was almost 20 degrees difference now under our awning. It's almost like we have an outdoor living space! The beauty part about this is that we can still see out of it when sitting on the inside and enjoy the view of our property. We are thinking of getting the side shades as well. We truly highly recommend this product, it truly is a game changer when camping!
