I bought this product for the way it was designed looked to be very sturdy. upon installing it I was right. built very sturdy and easy to put up. Had a little problem with a tropical system before we could anchored it to the driveway and had a couple of poles damaged. upon getting ahold of customer service so that I could order the poles they informed me that they would send out poles to replace them at no cost I was willing to pay for them but they took care of me at no cost.THATS REALLY GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE FOR A GREAT PRODUCT!!! keep up the good work

At $300 or less this is a very good product. The cost is kept relatively low by a few less than optimal features. You should expect to spend some additional cash ($50- $60?) on perfecting the as delivered quality of a good product. Read the level 4 and some level 3 reviews by real buyers of this carport and follow their recommendations. For example, you must buy additional tie-down items, e.g. 15-18" augur stakes at each corner and better, for all points where the vertical poles meet the ground. These should be attached to each pole with heavy duty bungee cord ball tie downs. This should min(imize the risk of the carport collapsing or blowing into your neigbor's yard. Do not rely solely on the inadequate tent support sticks provided only for the middle poles. This should be sufficient, but I also bought longer ratchet band tie down straps to go over the canopy from one side to the other, attached to their own augur stakes on both sides. Also, the zippers are a bit fragile but they will work if you are careful opening and closing them .( The same is true of my overpriced fancy brand winter coats, so I am not outraged by the supplied zippers with this Kingsbird carport.) Finially, and this is almost always true of diy construction products, the instructions are pathetic, with too small, confusing illustrations. Unless you are a flat bed truck driver, you may never have had experience with ratchet straps. Only the video suppled with the Amazon ad for this product gives you a hint of how that ratchet works .In any event, the Kingsbird product makes sense unless you want to pay twice as much or more for a more perfect product.

Took me and my kids (2 teenagers) about 1 hour to put it up. I'm sure if it was adults it would go up faster. Didn't think that was to bad time wise for a first time. The cover is thick. Seems sturdy. Simple and easy to understand directions. Did not hold up to the first big snow storm we had.

I have had this setup for 2 months at the most and already have large rip in the door. this is the backside of the tent and do not use the zipper/door on this side even. tarp has ripped basically from the zipper to the eye hole to secure the canvas to the frame. can tell this is poor quality and you can see daylight through the roof as well. the poles/frame are made of decent quality and the extra support bar running horizontal for the walls is a nice feature. end of day would not recommend this product especially for the price in comparison to current market

Fairly easy assembly. 2 man job or 1 man and a few 2x4s or other item to balance & support during frame build out. The main reason I chose this was because the height of the opening is higher than all others and just enough to fit my Kubota UTV. Tarp is sturdy and easy to use - the only reason not 5 stars is due to the cheesy zippers on the end flaps. But minimize opening and zipping & it should do fine.

I've purchased it to use as carport, the installation took about 2 hours mostly by myself, but if I am to do it again, I'd probably get someone to help then I think I could reduce that time in half. The installation guide is well documented and includes a necessary parts, best of all, no tools needed, other than a pair of gloves (even came included, 2 pairs!) Tip: Tight the provided bungees really well, so the structure wouldn't squeak under strong windy conditions. I'm writing this review about 19 months after my purchase/installation, because the canopy cover ripped, which is way past warranty, (I'm just happy that this happened to it instead of hurting my car's paint under Florida's sun). I've contacted their customer service, Angie & Yummy were very helpful and responsive. The structure feels it could last very very long, since after the installation there is no signs of wear nor rust.

I bought this shelter hoping to store my car and other things for the winter. Unfortunately, we were hit by a sn/rai/ice event that overloaded the shelter causing the frame to bend under the weight before Zi could get it off the roof. I contacted King Bird and Milka, their service provider helped me figure out what went wrong and how to creatively fix it. King Bird sent me replacement parts and additional some structure support parts free of charge. I will have to wait until spring to rebuild the shelter, but for now I am pleasantly suprised with this company's product and service.
