I got this set as a Christmas Gift from my wife. I always in love with the best quality of this brand, NiceC, with very reasonable price tags as always. This brand will always be my choice when I want to add extras to my home gym, especially during this lock down time. I own at least four products from this brand and so far they are amazing. This dumbbell set comes with a amazing storage case as well as the ability to be connected as a bar. For me, it is a very good choice to obtain two functionalities out from only one set. Great to be used for bench press, dead lifting and deep squat, especially the deep squat. It is very easy to find balance by the mark either for wide grip or narrow grip. One drawback is the extension in the middle is not long enough, so it might cause problems for long leg people when doing sumo deadlifting. But at this price, for two functionalities plus the convenience storage case, it is very hard to beat it.

Just received my set. Should be noted as states in the above review, MULTI-WEIGHT SETTING: This set comes with 20 weight plates: six of 1.1 lb, six of 2.75 lb, four of 5.5 lb. and four of 11 lb. Dumbbell handle weighs 2.3 lbs. The lowest weight for each dumbbell is 2.3 lbs. with no plates attached. Both dumbbells can reach 48.5lb at the same time. It is not two 54lb sets. Came 10 days earlier than estimated shipping which was great but it was missing 1 .05 kg weight and a screw but I sent a message to the seller and within 30 minutes they respond with an email asking for my shipping information to send me the missing pieces. I do like the product, it's sturdy and comfortable the dumbell handles are covered and fit your hand well, I like the little portable pack up case they give you with it, and I was very pleased with the sellers responsiveness and courteousness.

This product is fantastic for those who are starting to lift weights! My boyfriend and I compromised on this set, since he could practice heavier sets and I could practice lighter. The ease in which the pieces fit together makes this purchase great for those who do not have a ton of space in their house or apartment. We live in an apartment with only a small area to designate as a "gym" so this kit keeps the space tidy and useful. Be mindful that with any weight purchase, the box could come a little disheveled. Although the box was rough, the weights themselves come in a black kit and none of the weights were damaged. I expected this to happen anyway, as most shipping companies are slammed due to the pandemic and this purchase is heavy.

I have had this product for about 3 weeks now. Overall I like it ok; it serves its purpose. However, there are pros and cons. Pros: 1) versatility as it converts from dumbells to barbell, 2) compact storage/saves space. Cons: 1) One really annoying issue i'm having (probably as a function of its versatility), is that the screws become quite loose after just two or three reps of a movement. Therefore, it's a hazard if I ignore it, and it's disruptive to my workout when I have to stop and tighten. 2) The storage case is a little flimsy- mine came with a broken latch. Caveat emptor: It was a significant $$ investment for what's turning out to be one step above a toy.

Everything works as advertised. Unfortunately, the included travel case was broken upon arrival and it's unable to securely close. Some of the small parts inside weren't in the included bag either, causing a few scratches on the weights themselves.

Good for compact space if not needing really a ton of weight on a bar. Won’t become a deadlifter with these, as you can’t increase weight substantially given room on bar, and probably not for bulking up, but are good for toning and strengthening; as advertised.

Just received my package a few minutes ago. Overall the product looks good. However the case came broken and looks dirty. I'm assuming it's someone's return. I just got my replacement order as I had returned the damaged product earlier. Unfortunately this product also arrived damaged. As you can see in the picture, the handle is not centered.
