This bed looks nice yes, but the construction is crappy. The edges of the footboard are so sharp that we had to buy corner guards to cover them. My son had cuts on his legs within an hour of having the bed put together. On day 4 one of the wooden slates snapped in half. We had to replace it and add plywood to keep more slates from snapping. I suggest buying a different frame. If you insist on this one be prepared to make modifications. ... show more

About a month or two in! The bed is pretty decent for the price. It definitely looks good, which is what drew me in, but the overall quality could be better. This is really specific to the bed slats. The wood is very thin and I assume bendy to meet the weight of the bed. However, I kneeled on the bed with my other foot on the floor to fix the pillows and a board cracked pretty badly. Still 100% useable bed, just that part was not the best. It was definitely difficult to put together with two people but is doable. ... show more
