2 months ago I spent a total of 127$ for the Askeld 9in metal box spring, it arrived on time with no damages to the box or pieces, it was easy to assemble with just me and the included tools (the tolerances aren't perfect but still good). The design lends itself to sturdiness and no squeaking with movement (I weigh about 250lbs and room is carpeted) The sturdy design frame makes it less than ideal for underneath storage, but I wanted sturdiness more than perfect underneath storage. I also use this on the carpet with a mattress on top, no idea what frame/rail system you would buy if you wanted to raise it up (read some reviews that people had trouble finding a system that fit) Also I had to spend extra 20 bucks for 6 of the Askeld mattress anti-slip clamps or else the mattress would slide around. Kinda rough that the item doesn't come with some for free, would be nice if the set came with 8 since a bed has 4 sides. Still the clamps are good too, they have 2 bolts you tighten by hand instead types with one central bolt or bolts you tighten in with tools. They don't slip around or cause trouble, short enough that you shouldn't hit them when you get in/out of bed.

This frame was very easy to put together. All you need is to do is tighten some bolts here and there. I set both my mattress and box spring on it and It feels sturdy and makes no noise when you get on it. So far so good. I’ll update this review as time goes by.

This frame was very easy to assemble. We put the frame inside our queen bed where the box spring used to go. It's a little higher but works and looks great. It is very sturdy and doesn't squeak.

So me and my husband got this because our old one was really past it's replacement date. Both of us being big, wooden frames never lasted long. Even ones mixed with very thin metal sides. So, getting a all metal frame was definitely a must. 1st, the 3000+ pound capacity I would say is a little overstated. Maybe the sides are rated that, but I dont see the middle bars being rated that. The reason I say that is looking through the frame you can see significant bowing of the metal bars that attach from the middle and sides when laying on the mattress. My husband is 240 pounds. I know it probably wouldn't happen, but I fear of one of the bars breaking and wake up screaming because you just got impaled. Lol But, it's holding, but could have made the bars thicker to give more durability. 2nd, there are spaces between each bar, therfore the mattress does sag some, so the possibility of using some plywood between the frame and mattress is maybe a future add on just to help with the sagging and bowing of the metal bars, since the bars arnt screwed in and just sitting in place. 3rd, the mattress does slide. We got the cover as extra, it does help some. But fare warning, the frame and cover are a little off as of size. The cover was really tight getting on, to the point that we thought we was going to rip it. Even with it on, it's tight, and could rip later. We will see. The frame is a little off for the size. Doesn't really match up 100% with our bed set. But it's works. 4th, overall it seems good for the price. The sides do seem sturdy. So far there's no sounds. No squeaking. The negative stuff is fixable with extra material. It's good, but will edit later down the road once time has passed. I'll let yall know if one of us gets impaled.

The frame was way taller than we expected. It is sturdy, but not at all easy to build. It took 3 of is and hour to build it due to the holes being smaller than they should be and packaging coming tore open and parts loose all over the box.
