I found this easy to install, without bubbles. It fits perfectly. I have had some issues with the Kindle's touch screen not working correctly, but I'm sure that is a problem with the Kindle, and not the screen protector. (When I'm reading a book, it works great.     • A Necessary Screen Protector For The Pricey Oasis
You just bought a pricey Kindle Oasis, the next thing you should do is buy this screen protector. It'll prevent wear and tear on the screen, and if you upgrade in the future you can sell it in great condition to get more money to pay for a newer Kindle. You get two screen protectors in this pack. Since these aren't glass protectors that will break, I'm guessing you get two in case you make a mistake and want to redo it (although it's easy to put on flawlessly). You also get a cleaning cloth and a plastic applicator card. Application is easy: first, find a clean dust-free area to apply this in. Take out a protector and line it up against the screen so you have an idea of where it should go. Then, use the cleaning cloth to wipe off any possible dust on your Kindle's screen. Finally, peel off the lining of the screen protector, align it on the screen, and use the applicator card (or a credit card) to ease out any air bubbles. The screen protector fills the whole flat front with cutouts for the two buttons and two ambient light sensors. If applied correctly, you get a smooth finish where you can't a protector is on.     • Not Perfect But Good For A Light Weight Simply Reader.
I have/had many Kindles and Nooks. I like the light weight, the square shape, the "turn page" buttons on side and water resistance. I love my red simple cover thst I bought with it. I had an earlier kindle for reading on the sun. I wish I could have an option of a dark screen. It has been irratating learning to navigate as it is very different from my other Kindles. I am older and find the warm screen dims the screen too much. I will be reading by a pool soon so will see if that is a true benefit. Overall happy but love my Fires more. ... show more

Bought this as a gift for my wife since she loves to read, and she also loves bathes but it's a hassle to do both of those at the same time. Well, the Oasis solved that issue in one fell swoop. It is pricey and I feel like if you're not one to read around water then other options are more affordable and get the job done just as well. Now, I personally have not used this product extensively, but my wife has said the product is seamless, fast, and smooth as it navigates without any or much lag time at all. It was a lot smaller than I imagined upon arrival, but it does fit nice in the hand. With the asymmetry I thought it'd be uncomfortable to hold but it's actually nice to have something to balance against the hand versus a flat surface. ... show more

I keep accidentally turning the pages. I need to learn more about defeating either the buttons or the screen reacting too easily to my fingers touching the page. I wish it was easier to figure out how it works. I found YouTube videos the most useful.

I’ve had a few kindles over the years. And this one was an upgrade because my last one couldn’t hotspot on 5G and I didn’t have internet at the time. So I gifted my last one to my daughter and bought this one. And I love it. The only thing that might be considered an issue is… I like to read in bed. And while lying on your back, the group can be an issue. Easily fixed… I bought a “pop socket” and put it on the back. Issue fixed and if centered correctly, I can prop the kindle on a table and one finger turn the page. It is one of my favorite kindle purchases. ... show more
