Functional and Beautiful but I’m clumsy.

I LOVE the look of this jar and the functionality. It keeps things fresh and I’ve enjoyed it while it lasted. I dropped it onto a linoleum floor and it shattered, and I mean shattered. I was shocked at how badly. Obviously I expected it to break but not to the degree it did. You would think I smashed it with a hammer. In the middle was a pile of glass dust that looked like glitter and it went everywhere. I loved the look of it while I had it and it works great as long as you aren’t clumsy like me. Had it been a few pieces I would just order a new one but this breaks bad when it does and will not last long for clumsy people like me. I was trying so hard to be eco conscious but I may have to go back to plastic. Ugh.

The Perfect Pickling Jar

I needed a jar for pickling an abundance of cucumbers and this airtight jar was perfect. It withstands being shaken and turned upside down and has never leaked. I've seen cheaper jars that are the same size, but they weren't as sturdy as the Kilner jar.

The bottom of the jar is uneven.

This jar is not sitting flat/even. It rocks when moved. I want to make a plant terrarium in it, so it will look lopsided with the uneven bottom of jar.

Nice glass jar/defective wire lock
