This clock is adorable but completely unusable. I loaded it with a fresh battery upon unpack and set a test alarm a couple hours ahead, only to find that it lost a half hour between power up and alarm. Replaced the new battery with a newer one and set it for overnight, and the time kept and the alarm went off, only to find that by later that morning, it was again 30 minutes behind. I won't be using the alarm clock feature so I can't comment on that. Takes one AA battery.
