It is hard to beat this cover for this price. It took me about 1.5 hours to install - did it myself. The trickiest part is getting the cover aligned how you want it before you tighten it to the brackets. Might have been able to do this better if I wasn't by myself! I watched a couple youtube videos on how to install - took their advice and used blue locktite on bracket screws - did not use on the cover latches because I want to drive it around for a couple weeks first to make sure it is exactly where I want it. This cover is pretty sturdy - I am able to lay on it (about 250# give or take a biscuit or two) with no issues. There are nicer covers out there - but you are going to spend at least twice as much. For me, this cover meets my needs at a fraction of the cost. I did not have any issues with missing hardware - in fact, there was a bag of extra hardware included.

The media could not be loaded. Wow, this product is amazing, highly impressed with the quality and installation. It delivered and 1 hour later it was installed, only requires the 6 brackets supplied for the truck bed rail and one allen wrench for a set screw to secure the 6 brackets. Comes with a small packet of spare parts. The tailgate fit is absolutely perfect. There is a seal similar to your door seal on the perimeter of the tunnel cover, not sure if its water tight but I am not concerned with that. Videos ATTACHED ,2 thumbs to the manufacture, 5 stars to vendor. Arrived 3 days early.

EDIT: After about a week after contacting them about the clamps, they sent out a whole extra set of clamps in a very reasonable time frame! Excellent customer service and will be promoting it to anyone else looking for a reliable cover. Also, after over a year of ownership, there is no weather strip issues, no leaks(besides the holes in the bed), and still has a nice shiny black after being left uncovered outside! Okay so pros for this is the fact that it keeps the water out besides what holes are in the bed, it’s easy to open and close, along with installation. The cons are that the instructions aren’t super clear but clear enough where it will make sense eventually, and another con is that one of the middle clamps snapped after around 2 months of use. I’ve contacted them about it and hopefully I’ll either receive a new one or be able to buy a replacement instead of a whole new cover. Overall, for the price, it’s worth it, but compared to the $1000 ones, you get what you pay for lol.

This cover seems to be very solid and well made. The instructions were awful. But the product is good. Time will tell how it stands up. I am optimistic. Good deal for a lower cost unit.

Update: after speaking to Amazon, the seller is unresponsive to my request for the parts that were not damaged. I should’ve just returned the item because this cover is so poorly built it’s embarrassing. Don’t expect any help from the sellers if anything is broken or the quality isn’t good. Right out of the box there were two broken pieces, the buckle which was bent, and the lever to lock the back 2/3’s. Luckily they include extra parts, including rivots (because I have a rivot gun. That’s sarcasm), so I don’t have to get the buckle replaced. The lever that locks the back 2/3’s was broken in half and not salvageable, so the back 1/3 is half unlocked. I carried onward with installation, and it looks pretty good from a few feet away. If you’re standing next to it, you’ll see more cracks and just poor quality on the hinges, and that was pretty disappointing. It feels like this unit was suppose to be a prototype and just feels unfinished. Also, on step 2/3, add a small section saying if you have rails, see the back page for instructions. That would’ve saved me a few minutes.

Installed the cover a few weeks ago. Easy to install on a 2021 Tacoma. Came with adaptors to work with the Tacoma bed rails. Cover looks great and works. Keeps rain out of the bed and allows you to lock using the tail gate lock. After a few weeks I removed it (which was easy) and put in back on. When tightening the first section, One of the knobs used for tightening broke. The metal screw part inside the plastic knob came out. I hammered it back in but it comes back out when tightening. I reached out to customer service and the only option is to send it back. Which I don’t want to do. The cover is fine. I just need a new tightening knob but cannot find a way using the support system to see if that is possible. Ordered a pack of screw knobs off Amazon and they work. Been using this a long time now and is still looks good and functions well.
