This tablet is lightweight, and works great. I was able to connect to wifi with no issues at all. Apps all connect and download. The case comes off easily, but the screen protector was cheap and I didn't use it. Other than that I'm very happy with this tablet.

My kid loves this tablet. I like the bumper and the handle. This is the first one my kid doesn’t constantly remove. The screen scratches easily. I found this out too late. Probably wise to put the screen protector on before your kid walks away with it. Lesson learned, again lol. The picture quality is decent. I’m not a fan of the sound, but easy to pair to an external speaker. It has a good amount of storage. One thing I found interesting is that it didn’t need set up, it was automatically signed in as guest on Google services. I was able to connect this to Google Family Link easily, but it wouldn’t allow a second account in that mode. Seems like I was able to do that on another android device. There’s pros and cons with any tablet in this price range that are dependent on user preferences. All things considered, this is a decent tablet at a decent price. ... show more

I got this tablet to see if an android tablet would do the same things as one of my more expensive tablets. I did not have any strictly android tablets and wanted to see how they are. I checked out the Iwawa app and that looks cute and easy to use for children. I downloaded all my streaming apps, and they loaded and worked good. I downloaded all my home automation apps and those worked good too. I have a home media center that loaded and plays nicely also, All of these loaded and performed seamlessly. I do not use the cameras on tablets so, I connot speak on those. I did have to hunt in the manufacurers page for the size limitations of the micro sd card. That I am believing is 512 gb. The only reason I only gave this 4 stars instead of 5 is that I don't believe the screen resolution is as nice as my other tablets. It is not bad, 1280 * 800, but just does not look as crispy as my other tablets. I would absolutely reccommend this for a child's first tablet. ... show more

I've had a lot of Android tablets over the years. At this point I have six tablets, four of which are in active use. Two of the tablets are used by my boys (6 and 7.5) and these are not their first tablets. A few years ago I came to a realization, getting more expensive, name-brand, tablets and trying to keep them from getting broken is a pointless exercise. Young children will find a way to break them, no matter how you protect them. This tablet fits right in line with what I've been buying. It's very reasonably priced, especially considering the included protective case. It's sufficiently powerful to run all the apps my boys like and has all the features you need to make it useable (e.g. WiFi, Bluetooth). The protective case is good, but not great. It lacks a hard cover component and is just a silicone sleeve around the tablet itself. I've seen better cases but, as I said, they're going to break it no matter what so this case is sufficient. Setup is pretty standard Android tablet. Mine came shipped in a bit of an odd state. I'm used to a startup screen that forces you through an Android wizard. Mine was past that state and I had to go through setup manually, which worked fine. Then I did a test by using the Factory Reset in Settings. That wiped out my setup and brought me to the Android wizard I'm accustomed to using. If yours doesn't automatically start with the Android setup wizard you might want to just do a Factory Reset. The tablet comes with a few preinstalled applications that are child appropriate. It also includes the "iwawa app", which is is a walled garden type of app. I've used this type of app in the past. In my opinion, It's most useful when the tablet will be used by very young children. Its best feature is that it allows you to setup a very limited menu of choices and keep your child from ending up in a confused and unhappy state because they can't find their favorite game. The purpose isn't really to provide child security, although it can help with that. I abandoned these types of apps as my children got a little older (about 5). I manage everything through Google's Family Link, which the "iwawa app" seems to be utilizing in the background for at least some functions. The nice thing about the "iwawa app" is it's optional. If your kids are older you don't have to use it, if they're younger it might save some tears and frustration. Overall, this is a very nice tablet for the price. I'm very happy with it. ... show more

This bright pink cased tablet is really perfect for someone not looking to let their kids have free reign with the internet bc it has parental controls that are really stringent. The pink case can, of course be removed to just have a silver tablet or you could get another case for it. The handle on the back is perfect for small hands to grasp but I would worry about the tablet coming out of the case itself if carried by just the handle.
