I bought this Kids Kick Scooter for my 4-year-old, thinking it would be a cute little toy. I did not realize I was purchasing a tiny, brightly-colored rocket ship on wheels. The moment my kid stepped on it, they just took off, yelling something that sounded like “SEE YA, SUCKER!” as I jogged behind them like an out-of-shape mall cop. A few highlights: 🛴 Steering: Surprisingly smooth. My kid now corners like a miniature NASCAR driver. I hear tire-screeching in my sleep. 🛴 Stability: Three wheels = less falling. More zooming. MUCH more zooming. 🛴 Build quality: Strong enough to survive curbs, siblings, and at least one high-speed collision with a decorative bush. 🛴 Colors: Bright enough that I can spot my child from 4 counties away. Useful when they hit “maximum toddler velocity.” Downside: I’m now the designated scooter-chasing adult. My Fitbit thinks I’ve taken up competitive sprinting. Bottom Line: If you want your kid to have fun, get exercise, and humiliate you with their superior speed, this scooter is perfect. Five stars. My child loves it. My hamstrings do not.

This scooter is primarily made of metal so it feels heavy and substantial. It only comes partially assembled, so there is a 30-60 assembly time based on your familiarity with these sorts of things. There are two main issues that I have. One, is there is a single bolt that goes under the deck of the scooter that holds the two pieces together. The problem is that single bolt allows the main body of the scooter to bend. This isn't catastrophic, but it doesn't make the scooter feel as durable as you would expect for the metal build. The other issue is that the front steering assembly is put together which made me assume it was complete. However, it would jam up and not operate smoothly as it came. I had to tighten all of the bolts to make it operate as expected. The fact that there are better scooters for the money, that also don't require assembly, and work properly directly from the factory, are what make me deduct 2 stars from this product.

We got this pink kids kick scooter for our toddler and it’s been a hit. The three-wheel design makes it very stable, which is perfect for kids who are still learning balance. It was easy to assemble and felt sturdy right out of the box. The scooter is lightweight enough for kids to handle on their own, but solid enough that it doesn’t feel flimsy. The wheels roll smoothly and the deck is a good size for small feet. The pink color is bright and fun, and the light-up wheels are a nice bonus that kids really enjoy. The adjustable handlebar is a big plus since it allows the scooter to grow with your child for a few years. Overall, this is a great beginner scooter for ages 2–7 and works well for outdoor play on sidewalks and driveways. Would definitely recommend for parents looking for a safe, fun first scooter.

It was in a surprisingly small box but was actually well packed as you see in the first and second picture. It was easier to assemble than I expected with good instructions. They even included the necessary tools and an extra bolt (both sizes) and nut. As you see in the 3rd picture, the steering post adjusts height easily and securely. When it folds down or up it is pretty secure. I was worried at first because the footboard is all plastic (attachment points are plastic too) but after assembly it seems very secure and I believe it will hold up well. The front wheels swivel as it leans and the double rear wheels help it stay upright unlike a scooter with a single front & rear wheel. Very pleased
