Ok.. so let's be honest- you expect for a kids instrument for under 15bucks you will probably get crap that will somehow make a kids day. Well friends, I gotta say- I was pleasantly surprised! Not only can you tune thos thing, but it's super adorable/ beautifully crafted for the price. Now, with that being said- it not something you would play on for a gig, but for a kid to explore different musical instruments, I would say this is totally practical/ functional. Perfect size for a kid! It also comes with an extra cord in the event you need one so that's cool. Additionally, I even found a little card for you to write something to the kid so I thought that was so nice. All instructions are in Chinese... bit I am pretty sure that should not be a problem anyways. 1000% happy with this purchase! ... show more

1975 I bought an almost identical plastic ukulele to satisfy my desire to own a guitar. I figured I would get bored and move on. I would pluck single note melodies while listening to albums. The uke is almost unplayable for chording but has a satisfactory volume. My old uke broke a tuning peg before I tired of it, so I bought a guitar and have been playing ever since.
