I got this camera mostly for my daughter to be able to make movies. This is not the camera for that. It says it’ll be able to video but it needs an SD card. The camera only comes with a TF card. So it’s a little deceiving. If you want to take pictures then it’s a great first camera for a kid. The quality of picture is not the greatest. You definitely get what you pay for. I had high hopes for this camera, even though I shouldn't have. Don't get me wrong I didn't think it would be great but I didn't think the image quality would be as bad as it is. First off, the camera itself actually feels nicely made. It has a nice rubberized plastic on the outside making it easy to hold and operate. The screen on the back is decent for what it is and it is actually not so bad even in direct sunlight. The menu is easy to navigate and adjust settings as needed. And on that note, there are a good bit of settings that can be adjusted, to my surprise. The flip up lens is a cool feature for a kids camera and the functionality of that works well. They include a good bit of accessories with the camera including a 32gb microSD card meaning there is nothing that you will need extra to use this camera out of the box. There is a built in rechargeable battery that actually has decent battery life. The image quality on this camera is where it goes downhill. It says 1080P and in the settings up to 40MP, however, it is nowhere close to that. I don't even think it's 720P. The photos, even with the MP changed all pretty much look the same and are extremely pixelated and blurry. I have attached some photo samples right off the included SD card to this review. After I saw the photo quality, I didn't even bother with the video quality. This is a real shame because the camera itself is actually not bad at all. All things considered, I gave this 3 stars only for the fact that the camera is pretty nice and it's at a pretty decent price point. The image quality is just not there and maybe some changes can be made to help with that. However, as it stands, even for a kid, I am not pleased with the image quality.
