This is a great suit for kids. I got it for my nine year old but my 4 and 6 year old wore it too and it was big but still protected them well from bees. The material is thick and the gloves stay on well.

My granddaughter has been wanting to learn more about bee keeping. This suit is very good for the price. Other reviews spoke of bad gloves but I was very satisfied with these gloves. This suit would probably work well for a size 7-12 child. We did have a problem with the zipper on the hood. It did not work properly. Bought the 4.27-4.44 suit for my soon to be 5 yr old (55lbs). It fits great with plenty of room to grow, but not too baggy. The gloves are huge , but he just wants them for looks anyway. 🤣
