The media could not be loaded. This is a great product for anyone who needs a blender but wants a simple, no frills machine. It is a basic five speed, 700 Watt blender with a large 52 ounce mixing jar. It looks absolutely great and fits right in on our counter, looking as though it is meant to be there. I drink breakfast shakes or smoothies that I make myself. They consist of frozen fruit, ice cubes, almond milk, and a shake mix. I’ve always tried to make them with a little tiny hand mixer that you slip down into your cup. It doesn’t work, the ice is always getting jammed up And messing everything up. I ordered this and then attempt to be able to smoothly. Make my breakfast shakes, and it has worked unbelievably well. It’s definitely powerful enough to do the job and the mixing jar is large enough that I can make them for the whole family all at the same time instead of making them one by one like I have been doing for the past two years. Occasional makes a very high pitched squeal. I thought maybe I didn’t secure the base to jug correctly but I couldn’t find any user errors. It’s light compared to blenders I’ve had in the past and I don’t think this thing will last long. This blender shipped without a lid but I’m not concerned. I bought this to use over thanksgiving and I’ll probably give it to goodwill afterwards. ... show more

Used it to puree chili peppers, and it couldn't even finish the job before the motor burned out within a minute. Save your money.

Everything crushes and chops well. It's the normal standard blender with no fancy bells and whistles. It's not the easiest to clean, but I like to boil water and pour it in, blend to get it out. I normally mix greens with fruit but I didn’t have any so I blended frozen fruit and apple juice. The blender got stuck but I think it was because there wasn’t enough liquid.
