The kit is pretty great, gives you everything you need to get your amp installed. The wires also feel very nice, and seem to be true 4 gauge. I installed this on a 2007 Honda Civic LX Coupe, and I installed the ground wire without using the included self-tapping screw. I simply found this existing mount, sanded it down, and used it after getting sub-ohm readings through it with a multimeter. I have photos included. Also, the wires look especially nice, they don’t look cheap. This means that in sections where the wire shows, it does not look bad. The remote wire was just as long as the power+ground cable, so no need to buy an extra one. ... show more

Really nice high quality wire. True 4 gauge. I was shocked at how heavy the package was when I first lifted it. The factory ends are professionally done, heat shrinking is perfect and adds a nice custom touch. Great product, really pleased! I have this running a 900W system and am using all 17 ft of the wire. No overheating that I've noticed, no blown fuses. I am going to add another larger battery ground under the hood as I'm getting some buzzing, but all in all a real first class product. Pros: -Very flexible 4 gauge. -Battery side is pre-wrapped in nylon to look factory. -Quality fuse holder. -Pre-attached eyelets Cons: -You need to cut the nylon braid to install the fuse holder. *This kit is amp power wire, ground wire, fuse holder, and remote turn on wire. Very happy with the kit overall but not sure why the remote wire, which is (comparably) the cheapest wire in the kit to replace, is such garbage. The positive and negative cables are nice and thick and very flexible but the remote wire feels like a little piece of string and the conduction inside is tiny compared to the thickness of the coating. I know these don't handle a lot of power but it just looks and feels cheap. ... show more

Serious high quality at a great price I wish I had found this a couple years ago when I purchased a lower quality kit at the same price. The kit it's a no bs serious amp power kit 100 amp fuse in the fuse holder. I really like the armored section of power cable for inside the engine compartment. And the fact that your paying for good quality stuff with out garbage rca cables that you wouldn't dare use ... show more

The quality of this kit is excellent. The power and ground wires are very flexible for their size which makes installation a piece of cake. Sometime since I purchased my last kit in 2006 Kicker eliminated the rubber grommets where the wire enters/exits the fuse block (weather protection), but the clips holding the cover in place are greatly improved (old cover must be taped in place as it would fall off over the first bump). Why a two-star review? Despite reporting incorrect product description over a month ago, the description is still incorrect. This is advertised to include 20 ft. of power and remote turn on wire. Kicker's own website did not specify wire length for this kit to confirm. The packaging states 17 ft. This kit is being used in a 2005 VW Jetta (not a large car by any stretch). I needed every single inch of the 17 ft to reach from the battery in the front of the engine bay (driver's side) to behind the side panel of the trunk (driver's side) along the OEM wiring harness. I almost needed to purchase a new power cable that was just a few inches longer which would have defeated the point of purchasing this kit. ... show more

It's a good amp kit. The wire is very high quality which is why I purchase Kicker. This kit lacks the extras that the more expensive 4awg kit has, though I had everything else already. One thing this kit does need though is a set of ring terminals for the end of the battery and ground cables that connect to your amp. I ended up finding some at Lowes. ... show more
