  • Fits in 2004-2007 F250 / F350
This is a truly excellent subwoofer. The sound quality is great, and the install was easy. I did not see that anyone was able to fit this sub behind a 2004-2007 F250 / F350 crew cab, but I did just that. It fits very tight, but the seats still can go up and down like factory. I did have to remove the seats but that took about 10 min. The bolt heads are 18mm, and you’ll need a flat wrench to get to the ones at the back. I just wanted to add a few photos of what it looks like tucked in back there. ... show more

  • This thing hits!
I've been a kicker fan for 2 decades. I have it in my single cab truck and it sounds great! The bass is firm and solid not all sloppy and recklessly shaking the truck. It blends and fits with the music. Comes ready to go out of the box, they even include mounting brackets to keep them in place. I have a 93 ranger so space is limited, it fits behind the passenger seat and center arm rest; However, the armrest had to be removed since it's attached to the driver seat and the sub wouldn't allow the driver seat to push all the way back with the armrest hitting up against the box. I'm 6'5" and need all the room I can get. It says max RMS is 600 watts @ 2 ohms so I bought the kicker cx800 amp to pair with it which conveniently, pushes 600 watts @ 2 ohms and it pushes it just fine. Just make sure you set the gain right and things should be fine. Good Buy! ... show more

  • Allow burn-in time!
This Sub requires a gradual burn-in period. Do not go nuts during the first couple of weeks or the sub will over-heat. Rather expensive for a "non-booming" sub. Sound quality is xlnt.

  • Good for size
Sounds good so far, just wish it had more boom to it but it's shallow. Keeps tour expectations in check and you will like it. I have it in trunk of my regular sized expedition, and I need one more.

  • Sounded great for a month.
Purchased for a 2000 F-250 since it has a nice slim design. Running off a Rockford Fosgate Amp. I just wanted a nice clean bass for all types of music. Initially it sounded great, For over $300 I would expect that. After about a month it began cutting out and sounding distorted. Like a muffled “rattley” bass. So I turned the song off I was listening to and felt the speaker. It was super hot in the center. Mind you I don’t “blast” my music nor turn the gain up too high. All my wiring and Amps are high quality and installed properly. I also run a 4 Channel Fosgate Amp to 4 Polk Audio speakers for my mids and highs. No issues there. I just wish this sub would have lasted longer than a month before having issues. Price for the quality?? Buy something else. Very disappointed and not sure if I can even get an exchange for a new one at the very least. Purchased End of May, Issues started end of June and have progressively gotten worse and worse. Speaker looks fine but now sounds awful between cutting on and off. ... show more

  • Solidly built, looks very nice
This went into a 89 GMC 1500 behind the bench seat and fit really well. The sound is great with 500watts RMS going to it from an Infinity 5 channel. The other 4 speakers are Hertz 4X6 coaxes crossed over at 150Hz at the pillars and 200Hz at the dash. I crossed the sub over at 90 and I'm OK with the slight midbass dip for this set up. I expect it to break in over time and sound even better. It's built well and looks better than I suspect most DIY boxes usually end up looking. I think you'd be really hard pressed to piece something together with the same foot print and performance. Don't expect to blow your windows out with this. It's a sealed box and leans more towards accuracy than output. As long as you keep your expectations in check you'll be pretty happy. ... show more
