My 9 year old can ride it with no problem and can go over almost any bump without falling or hurting himself. We love every feature this scooter has to offer. This is not your typical scooter. The wheels are big, and makes the ride more smooth and fast. I took a ride myself and trust me, it was fast! The brake lights up when you press down on it to stop and when you ride it as well.
