So this is my second kiara sky kit. I’d say i’ve done maybe 10 sets so far and it has helped strengthen and grow my nails a LOTTTT. my last kit had issues with being gloopy and hardening. That was because of application errors and me just not really knowing what i’m doing. It is important that the base (2) does not make contact with the powder. You can make sure of this by making sure you dust off as much powder as possible between layers. It is also important that the top coat (4) does not make contact with the activator (3). You must wait for it to completely dry and wipe it with a dry lint free wipe. It is also very important to follow the directions as closely as possible, though i would look into video tutorials tips and such as well. For my results I used the apex method. (to the best of my abilities because my nails are really flat) and painted about 2/3 down the nail, dipped in the french to make the smile line, and then the medium pink. Then i did 3 layers on top of that of the medium pink to soften the line and contrast of the french tip, getting closer to the cuticle with every dip. Before activating i cleaned up around the cuticle, this is important to make your manicure last and prevent lifting. Two thin coats of top coat on top leave you with a pretty smooth strong finish! It’s also good to regularly file so sharp edges dont catch and cause lifting. If lifting occurs it’s time to soak off your nails and reapply. Dont rip them off! and make sure u soak of your nails as soon as you can to avoid a fungal infection I love this kit it is definitely of great value. I recommend it to anyone who wants a strong, cheap, home manicure that is stronger than acrylics. I would say this is for the intermediate to advanced DIY nail tech and takes a bit of research and a lot of patience to get it justtt right. It has helped me grow my nails and just looks so beautiful on!! I have not had a single nail break since purchasing my first kit. 6/5 stars from me

I have been researching dip sets for awhile now, watching videos and reading reviews. I bought this one because it seemed like the best one. Oh my God!!! I love it. I have gotten my nails done for years, and was never satisfied with the job. They would lift, they were bulky, bad shaping. If you follow the directions you will come out with a bomb set. I even did the Apex step🤯 encapsulating glitter, rhinestones and charms is super simple and looks real good. This set is amazing, just make sure u have everything u think might want or need ready and out when u start. And watch their YouTube videos, I still rewatch them. I knew exactly what u was supposed to do before doing it. I've only done this once but they look professional, excited to try new techniques and colors! **The picture is of my right hand(I'm right handed) and yes my hands are super dry, I have I am washing my hands alot right now, as I'm sure you guys are too👍** and the pic is day five**

I did not buy this kit because I wanted dip french tips. I wanted to create a strong base to protect my nails from breaking while still having the freedom to enjoy my nail polish collection. I do my nails myself and will simply never keep up with salon nails, but I've had to accept that my nails are just genetically brittle. Past injuries have also made a few of my nails especially break-prone. I went shopping for a dip kit from a known, non-sketchy brand that seemed beginner friendly. I'm happy with my choice! I can't speak to how well this kit works for french tips, but the sheer, neutral colors and minimal steps are just what I was looking for for my purposes. Once I finish with the top coat in this kit, I move straight to the nail polish color of my choice and finish with a quick-dry top coat. My nail polish bonds to the dip really well. There's definitely a bit of a learning curve, but I'm slowly getting the hang of it. I have had some chipping and crumbling on a few nails, but I think that's user error, because most of my nails stay flawless. And not a single break on the nail itself so far! I think practice will make perfect. The bottle design is a little frustrating. I love that the brushes can be swapped out, but it's way too easy for the brush to get pulled out of the handle, even if it's not stuck to the bottle itself. A minor annoyance, but I definitely don't love having to reassemble the bottle with wet product already on my nails.

I debated for a while on this as kit it seemed like a pricey investment. However, I spend about this much on a full set every couple weeks so I took the plunge. I couldn’t be happier. It was fairly easy to do, these pics are my first attempt and I am really happy with the result. I did do the French tip step twice because I used transparent nail tips and it was a bit see through. I think next time I might use opaque tips to save some product. Other reviewers complained of caps being stuck or loose powder in the packaging, but mine arrived perfect and pristine. Very very happy with this!

I have been getting my nails done for a long time with Kiara sky products, so I was curious about trying it out for myself. This picture shows my first try at an ombré using dip powder set. Application of the dip powder was easy and the base and bond don’t smell horrible. I am not a fan of the top coat as the brush becomes stiff after one full set and feels grainy after it dries. I would recommend investing in UV gel top, I purchased gelish top coat after and resealed my set. I will definitely be purchasing more colors! Hope this helps and good luck!

Now that I know better I’d never recommend it. Price vs quality is trash. The brushes constantly pop off the brush, avoiding cross contamination is nearly impossible, product drys because you open the bottle to use it, and the smell is horrible. You can get a $20 set for less issues. I can’t recommend it not for the quality and not for the price. NP and NSI have better products for the same price range and or cheaper. NP is accessible for those without a license. If Amazon is your only choice I say try a different brand. KS to me is a horrible choice for dip and gel colors.
