It's easy to use and start the fire. I love how I can decide to use between Alcohol or Fire Gel to turn it on. Since it's smokeless I use it indoors so I can make smoores without having to be out in the cold, or just to keep warm with a astetically pleasing fire and design.

The media could not be loaded. Grab a drink, sit around the fire, roast a marshmallow or make a s'more... all in the comfort of your dining room, or on your balcony, or patio table! I love the organic shape of this piece - it makes a very nice piece of art you can display on an end table when not being used. It also makes a unique centerpiece on a dining room table. We have other (smaller) tabletop firepits, and they work well, but this one is honestly hands-down the best! I really like that this firepit has a double-cup for the fuel. The inner cup has a wick embedded in it to help soak up the rubbing alcohol for longer burns. This cup sits inside a larger cup, that then sits inside the firepit. Because of the double-cup, it stays cooler over the long term and seems to make the fuel last longer. I also really like the included fire pebbles that can be placed around the firepit. They make the firepit look even more elegant. I plan on buying different colors of firerock to be used for various holidays and decor - for example, I just bought some orange firerock to use with this firepit for Halloween - it looks very cool! This firepit is not meant to keep you warm. It doesn't give off enough heat for that - but I really like that about it! We're using the firepit instead of candles for ambiance, and for roasting marshmallows to make s'mores indoors. It really is perfect for this! We'll also use this firepit out on our patio in the warmer months as a decor piece and as mood lighting when sitting on the patio at night. I love that this firepit comes with a nylon lid with a elastic hem - it's really nice to keep bugs and rain out when used outdoors, and keep dust off when it's stored indoors. The cover is printed with the logo of the manufacturer, and while that isn't a bad thing, I do wish the cover were a solid black with no logo - as I think it would just make it look much better on our patio without the logo. But that is a very minor thing. Overall, I LOVE everything about this firepit! It is WAY better than the other firepits we have and have used. I am SO excited to have this and I know we will get a lot of use out of it!!! Don't hesitate - seriously! Buy this! You won't be disappointed! I'm already planning on buying several of these for gifts - I know our friends and family are going to love getting this as a gift. ... show more

We have two smokeless above ground wood burning fire pits and 1 wood burning in-ground fire pit but we’ve been wishing for an easy-to-use fire pit with no clean-up to use once the kids go to sleep. There are some nights, we just want to a little fire for ambience but don’t want the hassle of wood or to use the additional space of a propane tank using fire pit. I don’t know why I was so hesitant to purchase one over the years. I’ve had some variation of a tabletop firepit in my Amazon shopping cart for a very long time. PROS - the substantial size, shape and weight of this fire pit - the ability to utilize multiple fuel sources - the color choices - I bought in black but other colors are available - initial set-up out of the box is a breeze and takes 60 seconds (put the felt sticker on the base and add the black fire stones) - the metal lid to the fuel source is a safe, easy way to extinguish the fire and it works! - the cover is perfect to keep the firepit clean and free of debris AND keep all the stones in place when not is use (we have two little kids - the cover also eliminates the kids insatiable curiosity to disassemble). - it works with hand sanitizer!!! We’re using leftover 80% alcohol hand sanitizer I purchased at the peak of COVID-19 when sanitizer was expensive and scarce as a fuel. It lasts just over 20 minutes when filled to the brim of the metal container - if you overflow the metal container with fuel, the rocks just appear to burn - no damage is done to the stones, container or your belongings. - the felt bottom on the foot of the fire pit prevents scratching of tables - it really does work indoors and out CONS - decorative use only; this is not going to warm your hands - fuel lasts a little over 20 minutes; we like this, but if you want a long burning fire pit, then this may not be for you Final thoughts - I REALLY like this fire pit. It checks all the boxes AND works safely indoor and out. At the time I write this review, I am able to find a seemingly identical fire pit on Amazon for less than $70 - I think this one is well worth the current price, but can’t see the value in paying $20 more for the same product. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Living in an older house, heat can be hard to find through the winter. This tabletop fire pit was ordered as a decoration for the kitchen table, and later for the deck we are going to build. My wife and I like the smooth simpleness looks of it. Most of the year, nothing but placemats and table runners are on the table, but this will be a nice center piece. The nice flickering glow is just pleasing, and calming. it does create a nice amount of heat for the wintertime, aiding us in combating old insulation in the walls. We received our package within just a few days of ordering it. No damage. Opened the box to find it was well packed in formed packaging so it couldn't move in the box. Inside the foam you get the cement bowl (fairly heavy), a foam pad (to stick to the bottom), 2 stainless steel cups( one for heat shield one for fuel source), a bag of decorative rock, a dampener, and a quick guide (vague picture instructions and do nots). Almost forgot the cover. This is easily set up and lite in just a couple of minutes. Simply remove all contents from the box. Remove the backing from the foam pad and stick to the bottom of the cement base. Place rocks around the bowl, put the fuel cups in the center hole. We use rubbing alcohol, pour fuel into smaller cup with fire mat (not more than 2/3 full). Light with long match or lighter. ... show more
