We have this fire pit table on our back deck. We live in upstate NY, and have been able to enjoy this fire pit several times over the winter. It puts out quite a bit of heat and the flame is beautiful to watch. We enjoy the edge around the top to place our drinks and / or to warm up our snacks. It was fairly easy to put together, we did have a little trouble with the legs, and making sure we had them in the right location so that the door for the gas tank would work. It took two people to pick it up due to it being big, but it fit through our standard size door to go outside. Great value and terrific amount of heat for upstate NY weather! ... show more

    • Like most review say, this is a very good fire pit!
Like you I scoured the Amazon warehouse and try to find the best fire pit I could find around $200. This model kept coming up and because of the blue glass that comes with it now, as opposed to the fire pit rocks, it seems like it would be a good purchase. It has been great! We have had it for a few months now and we really love it! I have never been able to get it to light with the built-in starter but I just use an old candlestick lighter that is all out of fuel for the spark to get it going. It is very easy to light and does a great job. I also like this model because the rim around it is sheet metal and not some kind of ceramic stone. A lot of other models have that ceramic stone and it tends to warp over time. We actually bought one from Walmart and then returned it because of all the bad reviews before I actually opened it and assembled it. This model assembles pretty well and has been working great for months. I find I get between eight and 10 hours of fire from a full propane tank. That leads me to one other thing, you will need to go to Walmart or somewhere else and get another propane tank which will such a back about $50, so make sure you include that into your budget. We get a lot of great comments from our friends on this and it definitely adds atmosphere to wherever you use it. That’s one of the other things I like about this, you can move it around. Yes, being able to plug it into a gas line is great but then those are fixed in one place. We brought this out on Halloween and gave out candy with our fire pit in our driveway. I was iffy given some of the reviews but honestly this thing does the trick for an apartment patio. It's sturdy enough, looks great and works great. Comes with enough rocks. One of the sides is a door to easily access the propane tank and the flame adjustment dial is easy to use. Very good!!

Final update (2) : problem was a bad tank not the table!!! So 4.5 stars because easily assembly and fantastic customer service. So customer service, via email, was great on second time and not only sent me a new tank regulator part (the second time) but the whole top of the table!!! Which I am saving as spare parts! Table works great. Cover I ordered separately fits perfect. Glass wind surround is ok but doesn’t sit down in the groove, just sits on the metal but does help block the wind. So docking 1/2 star because it should come with the glass & cover but I had to order them separately. Update 1: wasted another hour… the new control/tank connector part didn’t come with instructions or the wires. I had to figure out how to reuse the old wires which was relatively easy luckily. THE NEW PART ALSO IS BUBBLING/leaking gas. Ugh!!! I emailed them again… not happy. Original review: I’m happy with the assembly of this table. It was well packed and the directions were good. Took about an hour alone. I’m SO glad I decided to do the soapy water test on the propane regulator as it leaked gas!! It made bubbles and you can smell the propane. I tried it a few times. I emailed the company and they replied quickly and I think will send me a new part. I will update once I get the part. ... show more

I bought this for my girlfriend as a birthday present and we both love it. It’s easy to assemble and looks great. We ordered 20lbs of fire glass because it looks a lot better than the supplied lava rocks would. Actually has decent heat output especially after the glass heats up. We also bought the Bali protective cover for it as well and I believe it’s a must have unless you want the finish to go bad and rust prematurely. It’s super nice to just be able to go outside and start a nice fire with a turn of a knob and put it out just as easily. Not to mention no worries about burn permits with the city (or tickets for not having one). ... show more

I will be the first to admit that I had low expectations given the price point. I was very pleasantly surprised! The package arrived on time and was very well packed. Unfortunately, the top of the fire pit had a damaged corner. I reached out to the seller and received a very quick response. They immediately shipped a replacement part and I was able to assemble the fire pit without any issues. The instructions are adequate and it took about 20 mins. The fire pit is sturdy and of decent weight. I have read some reviews that mentioned the igniter not working. Our fire pit lit on the first try. I checked underneath to make sure there were no leaks or issues and everything seems to be operating just fine. I rarely take the time to leave a review but felt like I should on this one. As soon as we lit the fire, our family was drawn in by the beautiful display especially with the glass surrounding the flames and the different shades of colors. I accidentally brought 2 and gave one to my sister who is saying the exact same thing.

We have enjoyed our fire pit so much. We have spent so many nights sitting on the patio enjoying quiet time and star gazing since we purchased it. Its the perfect size, not too big, yet big enough. Seems to be very sturdy and was a breeze to assemble. Some times the automatic starter doesn't ignite immediately, but we just use a match when that happens, no big deal.
