WOW....What a spacious tent that unpacks, sets up, tears down, and packs very easily. I tried to complete the setup on my own, but I ran into some problems with the rain cover. It is much easier with a partner. Tear down is much easier with a partner, too. Especially when it comes to the final steps of rolling and securing the tent in a compact enough shape for the bag. I really like how many windows the tent has. I set it up in my backyard in the afternoon. It was hot (95 degrees) but a breeze was constantly blowing. When I opened the windows in the tent, it immediately cooled down to a comfortable temperature. My favorite features are: - durable bags, especially the pole bag - thick guage stakes - a zipper to run cords into the tent where people will not be walking - big zippers - lots of windows - intuitive set up and tear down - it's tall I wish we had gotten a picture, but it was hot and the mosquitoes were beginning to come out. I just wanted the tent down and put away.

This is a BIG tent. It has ~2 rooms but the front room in my experience is more a gear stash and not a separate space. It comes well packed with stakes, poles, the tent, a rain fly, and the tent itself. The bottom is a heavier duty material ( like a tarp) which makes sense and is pretty standard. There are mix of fiberglass and steel poles and install is 2 fiberglass poles than 5 steel poles. in that order. 2 people could install this much quicker. Material of sides and reinforcement sleeves for poles are all as expected. It is VERY tall i am 6'5 and the interior dimensions are well over 7' tall it felt roomy in the room and had plenty of room for a king size bed on floor. The only thing i deducted a star for is getting the material back in the storage case, this i have not been able to do yet. It is one of those really tight fits to get it to me shipped but after air has been introduced i honestly dont know if it will go back in that case. I would hope the manufacturer could make the storage bad a little larger making is able to easily accommodate the tent after use.

The 2 people setting up this tent had quite a bit of experience but not with a tent of this size. That being said, it still took them only a little over 10 minutes to set up and only one person took it down and it still took only 10 minutes. Half the time just getting it back in its carry bag. The male in my photo is 6’ tall so you can see how much head room there is. It says 8 person tent but that would leave room for something like a backpack for each of those 8. It’s that roomy. My grandson, the camper, was very impressed with all the mesh areas for air ventilation, clear vinyl areas to let light in and some pockets to store small items. It definitely isn’t for hiking in with it since it weighs 35# but great for setting up in a campsite or back yard like we did. My grandson said he’d be more than willing to take it off my hands if I needed a gift idea for him. Got more than one camper in the family, however, eyeing borrowing this tent. 👍👍

So, I recently checked out this tent and wow—if you're camping with a bunch of friends or family, this thing’s a game changer. It’s seriously roomy. You get a 9ft x 9ft sleeping area plus a 9ft x 6ft porch, and it’s tall enough inside for most people to stand comfortably without ducking. One of the best parts? It’s got that blackout material, which means you can actually sleep past sunrise without being blasted by morning light. Perfect if you’re not an early riser (guilty). It also helps keep the inside cooler, which is a blessing during those hot summer days. Privacy’s no problem either—you can split it into two spaces. Kids snoozing in one room while the adults hang out in the other? Totally doable. And the ventilation? There are windows you can unzip to get the air flowing, so it doesn’t feel stuffy at night. It’s built tough too—water-resistant fabric and UV protection keep the elements out. Plus, it’s got handy little pockets inside so you don’t have to hunt around for your phone or flashlight in the dark. And hey, if anything goes wrong, you’ve got a one-year warranty to back it up.

This 8 Person Blackout Cabin Tent looks great...love the colors. The shape and structural integrity are top notch. Easy to pitch; I did it alone in about 15 minutes. The blackout coating is thick, and the tent literally fades to BLACK inside with the door and windows zipped up (see my pic). With that being said, I'd like to mention that it got SUPER HOT inside all zipped up, too. I'm in Texas, and it's 109°F today....and the temperature inside was easily 15°F hotter. Once I unzipped all the windows and let the heat-cloud out it was still hot because **Texas** but there was also a breeze and the coating provided awesome shade. I'll be using a fan in the summer; and this tent should definetly be nice and warm in cooler/colder months. Lots of good ventilation with all the screened windows, door, and ceiling. There's 2 full rooms that can be closed off as separate rooms; opened up and used as separate spaces; or use the front room as a screened porch. Very versatile and family friendly. The ceiling is really tall with hooks for Lanterns, and a hanging mesh storage area. Under the windows there's mesh storage "bags" to keep the tent tidy. The zippers are durable and easy to operate without getting stuck, and there's a convenient zipper at the base of the tent to be used as an e-port and/or a portable AC unit. The flooring is heavy duty PVC tub-style to prevent rain from coming in. Tent weighs about 35lbs, and comes in a nice carrying bag. EXCELLENT Quality Family Camping Tent, and great value.
