Purchased the 12k BTU 230v 6-15 plug unit almost 1month ago (May 30, 2020). It arrived in about one week. Delivered via UPS, although they left it downstairs in foyer of my condo building, i’m only 2 sets of steps up. W/ my neighbors assistance, the 2 of us had no problems. It was packed brilliantly, w/ 4 white plastic strap thingies wrapped around entire package, tightly, strong enough to use as handles, taking my time, slid it right up the stairs. (I’m giving this info, to let ppl know of the delivery exp) sure beats me having to have gone to any store, & the (hassle of both Covid-19, & sales ppl). I already had a sleeve, this fits perfectly,w/ a tad bit of space to spare, & i used some foam supplied in generous amount btw., to fill in the space. The snap-together 4 piece frame finished off the look. Also came w/ a rear guard, which i took off the old rusty junky one, from about 25+ years & it easily screws in w/ 2-4 screws. The packing & everything was in mint condition. (i’ve tons of diff sized pieces of soft and hard foam pieces left over) i just put them away for rainy day purposes/uses. Now..as far as the operation: It works brilliantly. Cools very nicely. Easy to use. Plenty of features. Remote is great! This unit has a timer function, sleep function, & the ‘follow me’ feature on the remote is a nice touch, when u press it, it’ll display the temp on the remote(in cool mode only) of the location of the remote/which obviously is mostly always in the same room! The remote has a nice orange backlit led display. Energy Save function works great! The overall sound is not too bad, more/less like most large in wall sleeve units. I’m not exactly a ‘decible numbers expert’ but, I’m not bothered by a/c noise. So....Compared to my utter NIGHTMARE experience from 2016-2019 w/ THREE diff Frigidaires in a row!! I am SERIOUS. 1 after the other, starting w. the first replacement in 2016 of the original a/c that was in my condo when i moved in 15 years ago. Within just over a year give or take, they-each one, would slowly start malfunctioning, & totally take a nose dive. And even springing for the extra warranty, that too was a COMPLETE NIGHTMARE. I was not about to buy a 4th one from my local Mom/Pop appliance place, who never had a straight answer, nor offered real assistance, just took my $$$, and they only sold that one lone brand-Frigidaire.. LESSON LEARNED the hard way!! The Keystone brand off the bat works like a dream, not just in contrast to my bad experience w/ Frigid., but i really love this a/c & it’s many great features and functions. I posted about 6 pics, including the front/back of the 6-15 plug, hope that helps. For me the price was right also- for a 12,000 btu, @$595-delivered to my door. As opposed to upwards of $700-$800 or more for 12K btu & larger ones, in stores. Best of luck & stay cool, healthy & safe! Chris-NY ... show more

    • Fits Frigidaire Wall Sleeve!
Size: 12000 BTU Style: Cool Only 230V Color: White
Thank God I found this brand. My Frigidaire 14000 BTU wall air conditioner stopped working after less than a week! There was no way for me to drag that thing to an authorized Frigidaire dealer. I was pretty distressed as my back up portable AC was being used in another room. I had never heard of Keystone but I did some research and the dimensions were compatible with the existing wall sleeve in my condo. They don't offer a higher BTU model so I got this one, hoping it would do the job. (I live on the top floor of a building with a flat tar roof.) I let the unit sit for 24 hours to let the oil and compressor fluids settle. Then came the true test, a hot humid day. I turned the AC on and it has been on every day for almost a week. So far so good. It's already lasted longer than the Frigidaire model I had. I set the temp at 70 and it's actually pretty cold. My niece went to put a sweatshirt on. It has an energy saver setting so the unit will shut off when room temp is reached. I'll update this review to speak to the longevity of the product. *addendum- we had a power outage and when power was restored 12 hours later, I came home to a cool home because it automatically restarted at prior setting! This feature is not spoken about in the product description but I feel it was important to mention. ... show more

    • Junk
Size: 12000 BTU Style: Cool Only 230V Color: White
Terrible packaging - First unit arrived in a torn up, glorified paper box & dented. Hassle free exchange & fast shipping. Second unit arrived in better shape. Installed the unit fairly easily, but no instructions or manual were included in the box. Plugged it in and did not blow cold air at all. Couldn't even hear the compressor kicking on at 62 degrees. Tried everything to get cold air to blow, but just seemed to blow the air that was in the room. Don't bother wasting your time with this AC. Seems like a lot of manufacturers slap their names on this unit. I'm buying a Frigidaire from Best Buy. ... show more

    • Great AC, powerful, quite, easy to install, thermostat works well. Buy it you can't go wrong. Five Stars

Review Image by Florida Living
Great AC, powerful, quite, easy to install, thermostat works well. Remote is well designed and works well. The universal wall sleeve was not needed. The directions are poor, but many extra parts are included for different setups. Included is an outside view of install, no sleeve, in a manufactured home (trailer), no fins on the side!. Shipping was slow (only minor damage to the box), and I never got the extended warranty paper work I paid for with purchase, so now I have to track that information down, bummer. Blows strong and cold. It does create more noise on the outside, but that fine by me.This AC is a keeper. ... show more

    • Good product, wish I knew this product before
Size: 12000 BTU Style: Cool Only 230V Color: White
I purchased an LG AC before this, so from my perspective, I hope my review will help others: I don't know why did someone give 1 star, that is very misleading. 1. The shipping was excellent. 2. The installation is easy. 3. The AC is not very noisy, my LG LT1016CER 9,800 BTU 115V Through-the-Wall Air Conditioner makes more noise. 4. The remote screen is very clear and nice, and my LG remote control is too bad. 5. Separate option for night mode is a good choice. 6. 4-way cool air direction is a plus, whereas LG has just 2 directions. 7. The price is comparatively better. 8. Cools the room nicely. ... show more

    • short life
Size: 12000 BTU Style: Cool Only 230V Color: Bright White
I bought the unit in July 2025 it worked OK. It just blows warm air this year. I live in Minnesota so it's a short season. Not many hours on this unit. I would expect it would work a minimum of 5 years when the unit I took out was 15 to 20 years old.
