Bought for my 2006 Acura TL. It came with a QR code to program it to my car.. WELL, the site said that it could not be done bc of the model of my car. Anyway, I went on line, found a YouTube video and had it programmed to my car. Works perfectly

This item worked just fine for my 2006 Acura TSX. I have the original keyless alarm system in the car, but one of the two remotes that came with the car stopped working, so I needed a replacement and found this unit to be much less expensive than the part from the dealer. The "Official" Acura remote is also available on Amazon and other on-line sites, but it typically costs about twice what this cost. I was able to follow the programming instructions that came with this unit and program the remote in just a few minutes. Now I have two working remotes again! Some reviewers commented that the remote didn't operate their power seats properly..... I only use the 4 buttons on the remote (Lock,Unlock,Open Trunk, and Panic), and don't use the "Keyless Memory" feature found on some cars, so that was not an issue for me. This remote worked just fine to Lock, Unlock, Open the trunk, and set off the alarm if the Panic button is pushed. That's all I needed for this remote to do, and it does them all just fine. I can't comment on the durability of the remote, since I've only had it a short time. From an appearance standpoint, the remote I received looks exactly like the original one that came with the car, except it doesn't say "ACURA" on the back. Some reviewers noted that the remote was not the same color as the original, but the unit I received was the same color as the original one that came with the car. I'm happy with my purchase so far....... Time will tell whether this unit gives me 12 years of service like the original did...... ... show more

One cannot program 2 of them. One yes. But I would like to have a spare. That is what this was purchased for, a spare. When I contacted the supplier of these and asked about how this was done, to program 2 of them, the answer was, "how would I know, I just sell them." And you will not get any directions with it; but, you can go to youtube to see a video if one is foolish enough to buy one from this character. ... show more

Was able to program this remote for a 2008 Acura TL. Can unlock all doors. Pressing the unlock twice and holding the unlock will open all 4 windows and sunroof. Pressing the lock key and holding it will not close all windows and sunroof. Trunk feature works. Panic feature did not work for me. In general the remote works for the lock and unlock which is mainly what I needed anyways. ... show more

So I order from amazon probably more than most and this isn’t the first time this has happened to me and I’m sure some of you. Once again they have givin an image of a product they have not sent out. Now for me lucky, I use a cover so While annoying it’s ok that it’s not the picture depicted. That being said I wanted the picture. I paid for the product in the picture not a black generic key fob. I give this three stars based on the fact that this is not what I wanted. Again that being said I haven’t seen if it will work. Which reading people’s review might be a problem. If this just happens to work this rating will stay as is but I will update once I try to program it Also note I have another key fod that I have programmed myself successfully. ... show more
