Bought this to replace my backup key fob that had quit working. Programmed the new key fob with my XTOOL D7 scanner which took just a few minutes and so far it works great. The media could not be loaded. I was originally unable to program these remotes to my dodge charger. I first went to a lock smith, and then the dealer. The dealer even ordered and tried one of there own keys. Both said they thought something was blocking the programing signal. I own a retired dodge chager pursuit. Before tearing my dash apart, I decided to look on the internet. after about two hours I discovered that the police models have fleet a-like keys and in the rfhub Feet-alik needs to be turned off. It will appear that it is trying to program keys, but it really is not. (turning off modem will disable your current working key fyi) After my second trip, and them turning off fleet alik mode...these keys where able to be programed, but the dealer key that they first tried to sell me did not program. I do not know if the dealer bought another fleet alik key fobisk or what..but this was my experience and may this help anyone else out trying to add more keys to a retired police vehicle. (note my last resort was replacing the rf-hub and having to have the whole thing reprogrammed) One way to determine if fleek alik has been set, the rear trunk button will not open the trunk, and the dash trunk button will only open the trunk if the engine is running. ... show more

I purchased a key fob from this company. Paid $150 to get it programmed. Within a week it started working on and off , sometimes not working at all . I took the keyfob back to where I got it programmed. They said it was a battery issue . I paid for a new battery, and went on about my way . Sure enough two days later the problem reoccurred, key fob working on and off . Now as of today it no longer works.. $200 down the drain. Now I have to go to my dealership, pay an arm and a leg for a new key fob & programming it.. If I knew I’d have these problems, I would have just spent my money with the dealership in the first place. Never again ... show more
