    • It's a great product for the price

The main reason I got this smart lock is the price. The previous one I have for the garage door is a keyless but wasn't smart. But then again it was cheap (21 bucks at the time) so I can't complain. I've had it for 4 years now and since I do go in and out via the garage often, I thought it was time to upgrade. Yet I didn't want to spend an arm and a leg so this one fits the bill perfectly. The product is well made, it's got tons of options for you to gain access, an actual key is always a plus in case the battery runs out. The traditional digits input is always good (especially if you need to create one for guest) The biometric fingerprint is a huge plus (hit or miss depends on your finger) so just make sure you register more than one finger. It even comes with (2) actual key fob (access cards) And not to mention you can unlock via the phone app. As for the phone app, I wanted to mention you'll need to use Smart Life, works great! While I do like the fact you can set it to auto-lock, I've turned this feature off. It's really quick and easy to manually lock it. So why the 4 stars instead of 5? One huge major inconvenience is the way they designed it, you HAVE to drill a small hole for the top screw. Honestly, you don't have to (I didn't want to drill into the door) and it seems to be holding OK using just the two bottom screws. I've installed other locks in the past and I don't ever recall needing to do this so this only applies to this particular smart lock. Besides, I'm not using it on my front door (If I was, I would definitely consider drilling to make sure it's solid) ... show more
