"Santa" bought a Keurig for our office. I had been very skeptical of the machine, as it produced a considerable amount of waste, but I got to play before purchasing with the reusable k-cups and was really impressed with how perfectly it made my "coffee" (3/5 milk, 2/5 coffee and the 4oz was perfect). The convenience of being able to get a single cup of hot water without sticking it in the microwave vs pulling out a tea kettle and hoping the spouse also wanted a hot drink is what really sold me. Additional benefits: no pot sitting on an hot burner between cup one, two and so on. No excess coffee/hot water made. Temp control so you can drink almost right away. I hope all k-cups are made to be recyclable/compostable in the future, but until then the reusable cups are great. Note: WE did have to return the first one ordered as the box it arrived in was damaged and that carried on through the packaging to the carafe itself. Worked out though, Kohl's makes it easy to return and by the time I reordered it on Amazon the same model was less expensive. 2nd one was delivered perfectly. ... show more

Going well except after 2 months the amount of coffee in the cup seems to be less than first times. I’m not sure why but it’s not a full cup anymore. You also have to push a bottom to start and then lift the lid. My one before I just lifted the lid.
